Actually I'd say it was a mix, he was wearing orange pants.Onikage725 wrote:I put a line break, if that helps. When I said "the movie" I was referring to this one, since it depicts his early training years juxtaposed against the events of the Daimao arc.
And at what point in my post did I say the gi wasn't from the series? Path to Power is a film that takes some early events and mixes them with some later events, and keeps Goku in blue the whole time. It seemed a more fitting parallel than trying to compare the live action film to the Pilaf Saga.

He does wear the blue gi in Path to Power.

He doesn't put on the GT outfit til nine minutes into the movie, after he gets ready to leave with Bulma. (Except a few shots wear he's supposed to be in the blue gi at the top of the movie, where the animators screwed up at put him in the GT gi.)

And I don't really mind if we don't see Goku in the turtle gi til the end, honestly, as long as he wears clothes that are Goku-like; I.E. Lose and comfortable, something he could train in.

Yeah, Son Goku often protests when forced into something he considers "restrictive". It bothers me too. But, who knows. . . maybe he hates the clothes in the movie?LSSJ4 wrote:Ugh, I'm sorry but that striped sweater he is wearing in of those shots, really bothers me......
I would of liked to see something less......fancy?....a normal t-shirt or something to that degree. Last time I checked Goku does not buy
clothing in Aeropostale.
Edit*:IMO. Heh.
EDIT:
I'm more worried about how they're going to have Gohan in it. But that's a whole new can of worms.JulieYBM wrote:On the subject of a Saiyan saga adaptation: How will they cover Son's incredible leap in power? Will they allow him to die and then trained under Kaiô-sama?
I don't know if any of these pictures are official, but I havn't seen anything that says they aren't.
Sadly, this looks like what Goku will be wearing before he goes off with Bulma:

Gladly, this looks like what Goku will be wearing while/after Roshi's training (Yay! Turtle symbol):

You don't remember that episode in the anime where Goku decides to collect famous art for his social tea parties?SSj_Rambo wrote:Nope, looks like she walks into his house, then knocks over his Picasso painting, then points her gun at his head.Big Momma wrote:So...Bulma doesn't meet him by smashing him with her car, then attepting to blow his brains out?

edit: At second glance and it kind of looks like an ostrich...
On a positive note I have never seen a screen shot of Bulma I wasn't happy with, she really looks the part of her character and her outfit and hairstyle have a real "Bulma" vibe to them.
