Why is it that when it comes to U9 specials our time is literally wasted?
I think all the specials are a waste tbh. This series would have been long since concluded if it weren't for these blasted specials. It just feels super outdated now with all of the new stuff that has come out since.
If there was no specials we would be on hiatus. Salagir doesn't have a formula that allows this stroy to get finished in a timely manner.
Salagir should have had 4 different artists working at the same time.

I think it's the same reason why every fan comic only has one artist. Usually they're drawn by the same person writing the story or they have to commission an artist to draw it for them. Many of them with a commissioned artist haven't finished or maintained a schedule after the artist becomes too busy. If Asura wasn't able to continue, I think the story would be on hiatus until they could find another artist.
Without commenting on the quality of the writing, its refreshing to see this special focus on a part of the franchise that doesn't get much (if any) what-if material.
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

Whoa. Is Vegeta actually gonna get a W?
I hope not. It's so boring how fanworks keep giving Vegeta the win over Goku. Multiverse was unique in this regard. Even the official series is now giving Vegeta a victory over Goku, while ignoring how Goku has never actually defeated him one-on-one. It's so tired.

Well, yeah. Goku might not have beaten Vegeta one-on-one, but he's had plenty of victories overall, throughout the series. Almost every major villain besides Cell was beaten by him. Vegeta has had very few Ws. The few he's had are either minor victories or have a big "but" attached to it. Let's see... There were the bug people in that filler, before they realized they messed up Vegeta's colors. There was Qui, that guy I always forget existed. He got a sneak attack kill on Guldo. He destroyed Android #19, although in his ego, he allowed the android to absorb most of his energy as he was showing off. So he had to bluff and scare off Android #20, rather than destroy him before he could awaken the real threats. He got a win over second form Cell, but then his ego allowed Cell to reach his final form. He beat Golden Frieza, but only because Frieza burned off too much energy in his fight with Goku, and Vegeta failed to notice Frieza preparing to blow up the Earth beneath them. Then Goku hilariously jumps in to steal Vegeta's victory, thanks to time travel. There are probably a few minor victories I'm forgetting, but I think you get the point.

If you go and count Goku's fights throughout the series, he loses way more often than he wins.
Hmmm, I thought the Goku and Vegeta fight was super satisfying and I love that it ended looking like Goku won in 1 punch again. Also was keen to finally Gast vs XXI. Hopefully this last ditch effort from Vegeta is short.
Lol, if this fight takes a whole chapter and then it's another months long series of specials I will pull my hair out.
