They're mostly just short interviews, you can read the translated versions on some of the movie blogs.

Ah, I hadn't known that they were translated (since the poster a few replies above asked for them to be.)

Interesting bit about wanting it to be rated 'R'. I'd be surprised if anything Dragon Ball-like received anything higher than PG.
In that sketch, if you look closely at his face, you can see a smirk. He may be smirking in that sketch.

On the sketch, that does look a lot like a smirk to me.

Are you shitting me? Is this what we're bitching about now?

The SERIES is rated TV-Y7, and TV-PG for the "uncut" DVDs. At least according to IMDB here. Quick check on some of the animated films shows PG ratings as well.

Why are people expecting PG-13 or R out of the adaptation of a children's action cartoon?

Who bitched ?
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.

"If anything it would be PG-13"

"Sadly, IMDB has reported that the movie will be rated PG"

Sorry, "bitching about" was a bit harsh on my end. Just... some of the shit that gets treated like a negative on these boards is pushing it.

I am pretty sure the movie will get PG-13. IMDB is always full of false info before a movie actually comes out. IMDB is run by visitors, it can be edited by anyone, well, pretty much.

EDIT: Also there is no MPAA rating yet, so don't get too worked up.

Really? How do you edit? Cuz I'm always finding misinformation, incomplete cast lists, and repeated quotes...

Yeah, on a site like that, where everyone hates the movie, of course they'll edit it to their liking. That's only natural.

I couldn't agree more. But y'know, The Kids won't like that. This movie is going to be so ridiculous.

We can't knock it 'till we see it. And any real DBZ fan would know why some things won't be in a live action movie. Just think about it. The same thing goes for the Spiderman, Superman and Batman movies. They couldn't put EVERY single detail in the movies, but see how good the movies turned out(Spiderman3 not included)? In a recent interview, (I read it today. It's a new one. It's on dbthemovie.com.) James Marsters says that some characters will not appear in this movie(obviously) and the movie will be condensed. Come on people! What did you expect? If the cast likes it and the directors like it, doesn't that give you a sign? It must not be as crappy as we all think.

Steve Gerber praised Howard the Duck. When asked years later why he said "They gave me money." You want to set yourself up for a momental fall be my guest. But please do not hand me the con of they have to make changes.

Can you tell us all when Howard the Duck came out? A LONG LONG time ago. It's '08 now. I think that James Wong isn't the kind of guy that would say that sort of thing. And I never go see a movie until I read reviews, so I won't be setting myself up for anything. Plus the cast and crew are very pleased with Wong. Just give the movie a chance. Maybe Toriyama himself would enjoy the movie. And I hope no one gives me that "Oh Toriyama's so rich, he doesn't care." crap, because no one knows that. I respect all of you guys' opinions, I just want my opinion to be respected as well.

I hear ya, Pain. We have a small handful of pictures, some sketches, and one really shitty 9 second clip. No serious finished product advertising. No trailers or serious preview articles. Movies like this can go through changes. Look at Transformers- the first script they were working on sucked something awful, and had increased focus on Spike's (Sam's) school days. Even had a full football game sequence. People like us bitched so hard that the school stuff was limited to the earliest parts of the film (outside of the Decepticon attack), and the football scene was cut to like a 10 second joke.
No matter how much we scrutinize every scrap, we really don't have much to go on.

Steve Gerber praised Howard the Duck.
And why would he not? Howard the Duck was awesome. <3

And no, I am not being sarcastic. Well, not entirely. I absolutely love the Howard the Duck movie. Perhaps not for the intended reasons, but love just the same.
When asked years later why he said "They gave me money." You want to set yourself up for a momental fall be my guest.
When a producer or director or writer ends up not liking the finished product they remove their name from the credits and/or replace it with a fake name. People who don't like something outright say so. Wether they worked on it or got paid for it or not. I'll translate that "they gave me money" answer of his. It's something like "Well, I thought it was really good. But most people seem to not agree with me so I'm going to pretend I don't like it either. That way people wont worry about my opinion when it comes to making other movies."

I mean, hell. Look at Hideo Kojima's pre-release comments about MGS4. He doesn't go "Oh, the game is the greatest thing ever!", nope, he comes right out and says he was disappointed in the final product because he wasn't able to create his vision.

Sorry to be off topic, but how do you make your words little like that? I'm sorry, but I really don't know anything about changing the way my words look on any forum.
