I agree, the color is not too great, but the image is nice.

Aside from the weird shade of zuccini puré green that they chose fro GT, I like the artwork. The thing that boggles my minf the the DBZ Season 6 art... I was really hoping that they would revise it after all the fan disappointment and would´ve replaced that Freeza Saga Goku and put Super Saiyan 2 Gohan in his rightful place.

I totally agree with having SS2 Gohan on the cover, or atleast the proper Goku from the Cell Games, hell I'll even take Mr. Satan on the cover, anything is better than what FUNimation choose. Makes you wonder how much they really know about there property!

I don't know if I'd go that far, but I agree, they should definitely make a re-release, even though it is extremely unlikely since they would have to re-spend so much money.

As long as it's a picture him as he's flying through the air with a hand print marked in the side of his face.

I hope that FUNi's weird ideas of what should be on covers keeps cranking out some weird stuff. I'd like to see Yajirobe, Pilaf, and Gregory finish off the Orange Bricks.

Even Luffy would look nice on season 8.

Hey guys,

just wanted to say that the dates are as good as confirmed. So is the GT cover.

Why? This is why :

Even though rightstuf still has nothing, this is good enough for me :D .

I'd like to throw my own form of confirmation in Cover Art wise...And this is as good as it comes...FUNi's newest Release Schedule Insert has this...

Image

Same color, same Image...Yeah that's confirmation.

BTW, sorry about the bad quality, I saw this from a Video over on YouTube and copied the screen.

Though the release date is printed wrong. According to it the GT Season Set should already be out.

I'm wondering.

Are the majority of the people wanting to pick these up dub fans?, I can understand that because of Menza's god awful music, they're clamoring for an audio track that doesn't make their ears bleed.

But for fans of the original Japanese version, I don't see the point in getting these, FUNimation's previous DBGT releases are the best Dragonball releases they've put out, they've got Steve Simmons subtitles, eyecatches and next episode previews, and color wise haven't been tampered with as much.

Considering these releases are still readily available, I don't see why people are interested in an inferior product.

There's the notion of a watchable dub, of course. Then there's also the price. The existing GT boxes are still going for $50 or so in most places, and there's four of them. These will probably be the same price as the Z sets, and there'll most likely just be two. $200 or $60-$80 for the entire series. Which would YOU pick if you didn't already own it?

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

Even that should end up looking better. Apparently, the age and condition of the film itself is just as vital as the remastering process, which is partially why the Z sets have looked, on the whole, better and better with each Season. By that logic, GT should look pretty okay, if not... "good."

It should be 40 episodes, more or less though.
