I'd buy the original releases, same as I did for DBZ, I bought the majority of my FUNimation singles AFTER the release of the season sets, I wasn't happy with the product, so I made a little extra effort to get something I would be happy with.SSj Kaboom wrote: These will probably be the same price as the Z sets, and there'll most likely just be two. $200 or $60-$80 for the entire series. Which would YOU pick if you didn't already own it?
The price of DBGT never bothered me, because I didn't buy it all at once, I got it one box at a time (It is GT after all

My dedicated Dragonball shelf was too small
I think that has to do with the fact that because FUNimation's masters for the first two seasons of DBZ looked so bad they were tinkered with a little more, I wouldn't be surprised that the grain removal for those seasons left the image looking so blurry they had no choice but to mess with the saturation and brightness.SSj Kaboom wrote:Apparently, the age and condition of the film itself is just as vital as the remastering process, which is partially why the Z sets have looked, on the whole, better and better with each Season.
