Namek Gohan I think is my favourite. He steps the fuck up, doesn't hesitate to save Dende, doesn't freeze against Dodoria. Is willing to fight the Ginyu Force or die trying, he fights his own father and faces the emperor of the universe in his every form.

Cell arc Gohan is one I like a lot. I think there is some asspull pacifist shit going on there, like where did that come from, but then again, he's been off-screen for years, 3 years training just to be the uber driver, 1 year with just his father in the ROSAT, and that year waiting for Goku to come back from Namek. Gohan becoming less agressive works for me, specially after mastering super saiyan.
There's a lot of blank-filling on the readers' end for sure.
And I cannot get enough of the powerdrunk Gohan, he is a sadist, he is a briefcase bomb. Power wasn't the only thing locked away.

Saiyan arc Gohan was too obnoxious, even after coming out of his shell. But for the first half of that arc I just wanted him to get killed.

The adult Gohan iterations are more goofy in nature, I prefer the fiercer, younger Gohan, but I do like his older self.
I really like Gohan having a regular adolescence, having a less stressful life and enjoying things, and even capitalizing on his superpowers and being his dorkiest.
But I prefer the brief tough Ultimate Gohan that lasted from Buu to Buutenks, he seems possessed and again powerdrunk.

I really dislike boring GT Gohan and how he delegates everything on everybody, even his own daughter.
I dislike DBS Gohan being stuck in a loophole of slacking off-training-regaining his mojo-slacking off again, etc.
I hate with a passion RoF Gohan.

SH Gohan I do like, but it's part of that loophole Gohan, so I don't completely enjoy it even though it breaks free from it. And I love his Beast form and how he masters it in the post SH-arc.

I believe the Super Hero movie did a really good job on portraying Gohan. We see him as a scholar, friend, dad, and once again a powerful Z fighter. We get to see some of his defining traits in the series
