Did the Rock the Dragon DVD box set sell well?

I don't recall ever hearing confirmation on this one way or the other, but I've seen much debate on.

My line of thinking is this. Assuming there is no leftover box of unsold stock lying around at a warehouse somewhere (as was the case a few years ago when the level sets were restocked on Amazon) it clearly sold what it was expected to sell, which was obviously going to be less than a mass market product like the orange bricks or season Blu-Rays. It was never a product for all fans and sales can only be judged relative to the intended audience who bought it, which was people who grew up on the Saban dub.

Nonetheless we can be quite sure every copy that hit retailers was sold because of the absurd prices this box set goes for, despite being an edited, dub-only release.

For example, as of now the cheapest on eBay is going for $211.85, but the condition is.... not great if you asked me. Conversely, for what I'd consider decent it's $399.90.

Those of you who remember when former head of marketing and acquisitions for Manga UK Jerome Mazandarani was on Twitter will recall that when he teased talking with TOEI about acquiring Rock the Dragon for the UK market many fans (myself included) were quite excited. A shame that never came to be as I suspect it would have also sold respectably considering its by design a niche product.

That said, if anyone has heard anything definitive about US sales I'd be interested to hear.
