The unexceptional antagonists of Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return, the 2008 animated special. Abo and Cado are established as high-ranking Freeza Force goons around the same level as the Ginyu Force; apparently, the only reason they weren't involved in the Namek arc was purely because Freeza didn't respect them as much. Since their boss's defeat, they trained until they became as strong as Freeza himself. They chase Vegeta's brother Tarble through space until they end up on Earth, where they fight Goten and Trunks, both pairs of combatants fuse and-
Okay, real talk. Why the fuck is the fusion form officially called 'Aka'? The avocado pun was right there! And doesn't Gotenks literally call him "Abocado" at one point? I'm gonna keep calling him that.

Anyway, Abo and Cado seem to be fairly chill and personable for Freeza soldiers. They fight the Saiyan kids honourably and while Abocado does go on a rampage in Mr. Satan's swanky hotel, Goku quickly dispatches him before any serious harm can be done. By the end of the special, the twins seem to have buried the hatchet with the Z-Warriors after being gifted a lifetime supply of radishes from Goku's farm and they cheerfully join the banquet.
And... that's it. Infamously, Tarble has been directly referenced twice in theatrical Dragon Ball movies since the special (though conspicuously, never in any other media) and his fate is at least clear. It's a literal case of "I must go, my planet needs me" situation, but it's probably more than he deserves, let's be real. It's almost enough to make you forget that Tarble is a complete non-entity in his one flesh-and-blood appearance. He doesn't throw a single hand against Abocado. He shows up to beg for his big bro's help but has to settle for his nephew because he pulled the longest radish (stop it).
Abo and Cado may little more than overgrown mooks and the narrator even lampshades that they won't be remembered, but their power level as Abocado, while basically irrelevant to the post-Buu arc protagonists, is nothing to scoff at. Abocado fought well against Gotenks and in light of Freeza's own training boosts, it's possible that Abocado has similarly high potential. They could have been useful allies to call on in some of the later conflicts.
Look, I'm not gonna sit here and act like the Z-Warriors not thinking to call up Abo and Cado to help against Freeza's return or join the Tournament of Power is some great plot hole. I don't even remember their existence half the time, but I guess it's fun to think that there's another super amazin' guy out there in Universe 7. There might be a good "What If" scenario exploring what would have happened if they officially joined the Dragon Team, though I wouldn't be shocked if MasakoX has already made a 10-part video series on the topic.
