Ways Dragon Ball makes you happy!

Dragon Ball is one of the few forms of visual media that provide the wonderful escapism from the somewhat miserable life I have.

Starting on a similar note...

• Whenever I'm feeling crappy, I can put on Dragon Ball and just get lost in the fun characters on the grand adventure, full of humour, in a world I love. It's always been there for me, and it's always given me solace in bad times. Even thinking about the 21st Tenkaichi never fails to bring about a spark of pure joy.
• Even when there's bad Dragon Ball like Super, a good few of the movies, or the Episode Of Bardock OVA, I can get a lot of value and entertainment out of discussion and analysis. I've learned a lot by analysing what worked and didn't work, and why, in regards to Super, so much as I criticise that show, it has given me a lot of value.
• Dunno if this counts, but Dragon Ball brought Kanzenshuu about; the Kanzenshuu podcast is delightful, and we've got such a wonderful group of people posting here. People like Lord Beerus, Kunzait, Cure Dragon, KBABZ, VegettoEX, my good buddies Arian and sangofe... And everyone else I haven't mentioned, even those I've had huge arguments with. Wouldn't trade this community for anything, and I'm glad to be a member of it.

Same with me as i have really enjoyed being a part of this here community too, though of course admittedly i obviously haven't been on the forums for nearly quite as long as some of you others have but it's no doubt been awesome all the same as a frequent Internet hanging place for me in the short time that i've had my account so far. Discussing all these type of different things about the series and franchise as a whole on here is really great if i have nothing else to do at a particular time or what have you.

!!!! Holy gosh am I flattered that you'd mention me in that list! I'm very thankful for this community too, and the site. Before I was a casual dub fan who wanted to go back to the 2000s eating pizza with my sis watching the dub, but now I feel like I have a much deeper understanding and appreciation of not just the show itself, but what I liked about it in the first place.

Picking favourite members is hard; I tried rather hard to frame it more as pointing out particular people who stand out to me, with me likely forgetting a bunch of other delightful people, since I just know if I actually tried assembling a list of favourites, I'd forget someone and feel like a dick for it, and potentially leave the other person feeling a bit down.
But maybe that's just my social anxiety talking, and you'd have an easier time with it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Like I said on the revival thread. I love the revival. Its the reason One Piece is being redubbed in Latin America and all.

But I am so glad India will experience the entire story, OG DB will be broadcast in India, in more than 4 local languages.

Apparently in 2009/2010 when original Dragon Ball was broadcast in India only 49 episodes were dubbed and 15 aired. I'm hoping the entire show will be dubbed and released this time.

Uttam Pal Singh apparently told fans privately Cartoon Network was looking into Dragon Ball GT but they started airing One Piece this year (which is supposedly not doing great) instead. I'd love to see GT be dubbed as India never received it, but maybe that could happen too if original Dragon Ball does well.
