Re: "Sparking! ZERO" Official Announcement & Pre-Release Discussion Thread
Supposedly, were not just going to get something on Gamescom's opening day, it seems the Xbox livestream on the following day is also going to showcase Sparking Zero. I wonder what they're going to show off.
Re: "Sparking! ZERO" Official Announcement & Pre-Release Discussion Thread
The Gogetas and the Brolys offered with the pre-order, if you don't pre-order, when do you actually get them?

You probably unlock them as you progress through the story, like in FighterZ.Koitsukai wrote: Fri Aug 16, 2024 8:07 am The Gogetas and the Brolys offered with the pre-order, if you don't pre-order, when do you actually get them?
The unannounced fighter is the only one who will be unavailable for purchase until later on.
My interpretation, anyway.

Yup, Ultimate Gohan, Super Buu, Buutenks, Buuhan, and Kid Buu were confirmed, as well as new snippets of SS3 Gotenks and Super Vegetto. Also, they showed off the various clash mechanics:
- Blast Impact (Beam Clashes)
- Crash Impact (Short Dash Clashes)
- Power Impact (Grab Clashes)
- Speed Impact (Dragon Dash Clashes)

At this point, the surprises will be characters like Badi-Di and Yakkon.Rinsankajugin wrote: Fri Aug 16, 2024 2:20 pm Yup, Ultimate Gohan, Super Buu, Buutenks, Buuhan, and Kid Buu were confirmed, as well as new snippets of SS3 Gotenks and Super Vegetto. Truth be told, instead of this game being Z-focused with Super sprinkled on top, I would have preferred the opposite. The entire roster of the ToP, (80 characters), the main heroes/villains of the G.Frieza/Zamasu saga and then the key characters of the Z series, with movies/GT sprinkled on the top.
No, seriously, I would much prefer that over 25 Gokus and Vegetas.

If the producer of this game wanted to be petty and teach all the hating oldheads calling everything trash a good lesson. He'd let a leak or word get out that "we saving GT,Movie Villians, & OG DB for DLC". Then every year just keep adding more Super characters and keep the false hope up that "yeah we will add the GT,Movie Villians, & OG DB characters next year for sure" & never do then make an announcement 2 years later that Sparking Zero is completed & there wont be anymore updates

Predicting the last 34 empty slots...
Going to re-do DLC prediction:

Re: "Sparking! ZERO" Official Announcement & Pre-Release Discussion Thread
I would normally be inclined to say that buying any DLC character is useless for me if it doesn't come with a story chapter.
But in this case, you have to consider that more characters can bring you more custom story material to create your own stories.
So I'm still shaky about whether to buy the DLC characters for this game or not.
Usually, it would be as simple as "does it add a story chapter? No? Count me out. Yes? Count me in."
But in this case, DLC adds more tools to play with in your "story sandbox" mode with those many extra characters, which is something to consider.

Re: "Sparking! ZERO" Official Announcement & Pre-Release Discussion Thread
Just think about the decisions the characters made throughout the story and try to imagine the choices we'll have! So many possibilities, everytime someone was asked to do something or decided by themselves to do something!
- Krilin accepts to leave Goku to fight Vegeta by himself OR insist that they fight him together.
- Vegeta accepts Krilin's deal to leave them alone on Namek OR decides to finish him while he's here.
- Freeza decides that Dende is insignificant and lets him escape OR he decides something's fishy and chases him instead.
- Piccolo accepts to fuse with Nail OR he refuses to do so.
- Piccolo decides to try and gather info from Cell's mouth OR decides to try and finish him as quickly as possible.
- Krilin can't bring himself to deactivate C-18 OR he does deactivate her.
- Vegeta lets Cell reach his perfect form OR he decides it's probably not worth it.
- Goku chooses to give up and let Gohan take over OR he does decide to try and deal with Cell himself as much as he can.
- Goku chooses Gohan to face Cell OR he chooses someone else.
- Goku chooses to give a senzu to Cell OR decides to leave him a bit worn off when facing Gohan.
- Gohan plays around with Cell OR he chooses to finish him when his father tells him to do so.
- Gohan obeys Kibito's demands and goes Super Saiyan 2 OR he chooses to keep restraining his strength at the tournament.
- Vegeta lets Babidi take control of him OR he resists and never goes "Majin Vegeta".
- Gohan obeys Goku's orders to leave Vegeta to him and go prevent Boo's awaking OR he chooses to stay and battle Majin Vegeta too.
- Vegeta knocks out Goku to face Majin Boo alone OR he does agree to team up with him to face Boo together.
- Goku decides to hold off against the chubby Boo for the next generation to take over OR he decides to try and finish him as a Super Saiyan 3.
- Vegeta reluctantly agrees to fuse with Goku OR he stubbornly refuses to do so until the end.
- Vegeta breaks the Potalas (forcing Goku to do the same) OR both Saiyans keep them to use them again later in the fight.
- Similarly, Goku and Vegeta refuse the new Potalas offered to them to fight Boo OR they accept the offer and fuse again.
- Goku is chosen to become the Super Saiyan God against Beerus OR Vegeta is chosen.
- Goku relaxes and lets his guard down against Golden Freeza OR he keeps his guard up and isn't put down by the trick.
- Vegeta obviously refuses Freeza's offer OR he unexpectedly accepts it and turns back against the Earth defenders. (that might be too much of a twist to be a plausible choice in this case...)
- Goku willingly loses against Hit OR he fights as much as he can.
- Goku leaves the senzu bag behind when going to the future to fight Goku Black OR he does think of bringing it.
- Goku doesn't check the Mafuba seal he's given and doesn't notice it's wrong OR he does check it when being given it and asks for the proper one.
- Freeza reluctantly agrees to team up with Goku for the final assault against Jiren OR stubbornly refuses to do so.
- Krilin accepts to leave Goku to fight Vegeta by himself OR insist that they fight him together.
- Vegeta accepts Krilin's deal to leave them alone on Namek OR decides to finish him while he's here.

Accurate Android arc Vegeta

Budokai 1 was the last game to have this detail correct?

Bardock confirmed. Perhaps Z Broly makes the cut, too?

I think the boots not having the stripes. Vegeta's boots only get the stripes post RoSaT, which is a different outfit for Vegeta Mid.

A decent trailer, if a bit small. Just a reminder though, Sparking Zero is also going to be at the Xbox Showcase tomorrow as well.
