No, I don't think so.

Dragon Ball Daima can't be set before Dragon Ball Z because Vegeta is in it. Before Super maybe.

From what I've seen, character wise it seems to hover around the Buu saga but I don't think we've got any solid confirmation.

Daima most likely takes place between Buu arc and BOG. We were getting too close to EOZ, so we had to go back to make sure modern Dragon Ball stays in this timeframe forever.

As for Kibito/Kaioshin maybe the wish to make them kids force them to defuse.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

No wonder DB Daima would air on a Friday close to midnight on Fuji TV, considering that DB Super aired on Sundays at around 9:00 AM JST on the same network. Same for DB Kai.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think anime on prime time (golden time) is no longer a thing on Japanese television. OG DB, DBZ, and DBGT aired at golden time slots in Japan back then.

Yeah, Fuji TV doesn't really air animation in prime time anymore; it's either very late at night or Sunday mornings / early evenings.

Rival network TV-Tokyo does have a single two hour block on Friday nights where they air animation in prime time but that's pretty much the last terrestrial network still doing this.

Are you saying they won't produce more episodes? Not a surprise it's releasing when Sparking Zero does. Time for a new sub forum!

Hopefully, that means that the production problems that happened with Super will not happen.

I wonder if that means it's finished animation wise, even with corrections.

Who knows. The series might feature animation corrections for the Blu-ray release, or it might not. The production has been completed on every episode a full month—or perhaps more—so it isn't like there isn't still time for the episodes to be modified before they are broadcast.

It'll be interesting to see who the music composer is, though. I hope it isn't Sumitomo again, his music is bland.

The claim that all the episodes are done isn't actually true. 2nd KA for second cour content and LO for final episodes is still in progress at the moment. I suppose he means they're "ready" in the sense that by the time each episode rolls around, it'll have been done for a while. But yeah, as it stands, people are absolutely still animating for this series right now.

Damn, that is lame as hell on their part. I guess from his perspective as a television producer, if the network has approved the content then that means its finished. :/

Welp, guess we're getting home video corrections.

Or Naoki Sato, who composed the official soundtrack of DBS Super Hero.

I'm surprised that it will be airing on a late night time slot in Japan.

I wouldn't expect that. The series is in fantastic shape. Animating the final episodes before it's even hit the air is great. There's nothing to doom and gloom about here - I just wanted to correct the claim that everything is 100% complete.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply anything being the end of the world. Pretty much any production these days inevitably has some sort of corrections, so I just figured it would be a natural thing.

I certainly don't expect major, series-wide corrections or anything like Super lol.

Definitely surprised it's getting a late night slot in Japan. Would be interesting to see if takes advantage of it. Probably not.
Looking for these rare items/information:

Any information or recordings pertaining to Dragon Ball Z's syndicated run on WAWB
Any information regarding the stations that carried the origin Dragon Ball in the USA
Dragon Box (any deals would be nice)
Shonen Jumps with Dragon Ball in them

I REALLY hope this late timeslot IS NOT FOR FUCKING allowing Roshi to sexually harrass women. I know this is an oddly specific fear but I think there really isnt anything to justify it airinig so late. SEXUAL HARRASMENT IS SHIT.

OMG: I DIDNT SEE THE MISTAKE. OMG. SO GLAD I am still in time to rewrite
