I guess some GT fanboys will be happy... I would honestly not do things like this, I would either go full in with GT or not at all and save GT for a big DLC.
We got quite a few GT characters now, but then again quite a lot of important ones are still missing.

I'm soo very happy with this reveal! GT was in every Budokai Tenkaichi game so why would it not be here, especially since the first trailer showed SSJ4 Goku to begin with. Yeah, not every character made it in but that's the current era we live in.
I'm 100% sure that Super 17, Syn, Nuova and maybe GT Vegeta and Trunks will be in a DLC down the line.

I guess some GT fanboys will be happy.

Damn, this looks nice, too bad no GT stages with some red skies. I have to admit, I was hoping for Rildo but I guess a DLC will do the trick... having all Vegeta Baby forms is enough for now.
It was logical, there are plenty of people that couldn't care less about DBS, because they disliked or because they never got around to watch it, the franchise ended with GT for so many people and they deserve to play this game, too.


10 slots left, am I right? probably Jaco and ToP characters from U6 and U11. I believe Ribrianne and her friends are already there, I've seen Rozie on the roster. There isn't really much left, most universes sucked, what's Napapa going to bring to the table?

The mystery character I think it will be Daima Goku, not Beelzebub.
And boy were they wrong those that were convinced GT was not going to be in the base game, It was a no brainer since great apes were shown 6 months ago.

I feel like we do not need Great Ape Kid Goku at the moment, I think Great Apes could be added as a Free DLC for Kid Goku, Kid Gohan and the Saiyans like Nappa & Raditz.

I'd put Arale where Great Ape Kid Goku is, Arale and General Blue kinda go together tbh

As for DLC I'm going to assume a GT DLC would give us Base GT Vegeta and SSJ1 GT Vegeta that can turn into SSJ4 Vegeta. I figured they would've done that for GT Kid Goku, just having SSJ4 in base but I'm glad I was wrong.

OG DB and GT still have lots of potential in DLCs, we don't need to go all in for one or the other, there are characters that have never been represented in BT or Raging Blast. Adult Chichi, Giran, Kid Krillin, Ledgic, Luuchi, Luud, General Rildo, etc.

Using the main game roster to touch up on the major characters that people want makes sense. It serves all of the parts of the more established franchise and then leaves room in the DLC for more.

Funny how they completely skipped Super 17 lol but hey at least I can Stfu now.

My only hope now is that we get a GT+ DLC pack with more representation from there in GT Vegeta, GT Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Rildo, The remaining Shadow Dragons and Super 17 of course.

I do hope the DLCs are more than just new characters and come with some story mode or something. XV2's DLCs had several Parallel Quests with each DLC + new story mode for the main story IIRC.

GT has some great stages... Planet Vegeta, the stage where Goku fought Super 17, the destroyed cities the dragons left behind (deserted town filled with sand comes to mind, the frozen city, the amusement park). Not to mention M2, if Rildo becomes a thing.

It would make sense if he's been saved for a "Movie Characters trailer" alongside people like Z Broli. Lotta people don't expect them because "they'd be a good draw for DLC", and that's true, but that's also true for many confirmed base game characters.

Could have had super 17, nouva and eis instead of syn and the lower baby forms. Those are some big omissions.

Aren't there 2 Vegettos? Doesn't make sense either, but the way SS Gogeta fights from the footage we've seen seems to be completely new animations from the Z Gogeta we know from BT3/RB. None of the spin kicks we usually associate with him. So I wouldn't be surprised.

It can be kid Goku and Oozaru is a separated character now (Or maybe not in the game at all), kinda like how Super Perfect Cell is now a separated character from Cell.

I doubt it's Z Gogeta, whenever there's a fusion character the characters needed to fuse into them are directly near them, but if Z Gogeta is there, he's not touching Vegeta, and that'd make Z Gogeta into a big exception (Though this roster's positioning is already weird as fuck, who would guess Omega is right besides Beerus?).
