Even considering that they hold back not to destroy the Earth, the powers of various strong characters keep on increasing to the point of shaking the whole planet and generating shockwaves that can be seen from space. So I ask, how much longer can the Earth and any other planet serve as a battlefield for DB characters before they are destroyed???
I'm honestly kind of surprised that it hasn't happened yet, especially with the Granolah arc having multiple beings wielding powers not too far off from the level of Hakaishin. If & when the series returns, maybe it can finally depict the consequences of the characters obtaining more & more power until it proves to be too much?

Re: How much longer can the Earth or any planet hold up against the power of the characters?
We actually see very often instances where the sheer scale of power threatens entire planets, and yet, somehow, the destruction is narrowly avoided or minimized.
Here’s a breakdown:
1. Freeza: On Namek, Freeza’s final form generated enough power to destroy the entire planet. He intentionally delayed its destruction to toy with Goku, which allowed the battle to continue. In a real scenario, their fight could have resulted in the planet’s destruction much sooner.
2. Cell: The Cell Games took place on Earth, with Cell threatening to blow up the planet. The massive energy clashes during the fight could have caused catastrophic damage, but the series, as usual, found ways to protect Earth, such as Gohan’s precise control of his power and Goku’s sacrifice to remove Cell’s self-destruction threat.
3. Majin Boo: Boo’s strength was so immense that he threatened to destroy Earth several times and even managed to do so in one ki blast. The series then moved the battle to the Sacred World of the Kaioshins. Even then, the stakes remained high, as Boo’s destructive potential was shown to be capable of obliterating multiple planets without much effort.
4. Beerus: During Goku’s Super Saiyan God battle with Beerus, their punches sent shockwaves across the universe, threatening to destroy Earth and even the entire universe. It highlights how close these battles come to having dire consequences on a universal scale.
5. Moro, with his ability to drain life energy from planets and living beings, directly threatened Earth in a way that wasn't just about overwhelming force but about the very survival of the planet. Moro’s absorption of energy created an ongoing danger, forcing Goku, Vegeta, and the others to not only fight him but also protect the planet from being drained dry. During the final battle, Moro merged with Earth itself, which raised the stakes significantly. Any damage dealt to Moro could have led to Earth's destruction, showing just how fragile the situation had become.
In each of these cases, the story introduces a way to prevent total destruction, often through strategic actions by the characters or external intervention. As the series progresses, it would make sense for battles to either move off-world more frequently or to introduce new ways for characters to deal with the environmental impact of their strength. Future arcs could definitely explore this in more depth, maybe showing that as the characters grow stronger, they can't afford to keep using planets as their battlegrounds without devastating consequences.

Re: How much longer can the Earth or any planet hold up against the power of the characters?
The Earth will continue to be used as a battlefield without worry until Toyotaro or whomever decides to capitalize on the stakes of the planet being easily destroyable now that the DB characters and villains can destroy multiverses or whatever. Until then, the Earth isn't in any danger despite the fact that it should be. How did Broly, despite being blinded by rage and unable to control his power, not destroy Earth with a stray Ki blast? Because that would be anticlimactic and there would be no big Gogeta vs. Broly fight.
It's a boring answer, but it's the truth. I also hope that the writers will address this at some point, not that it would really affect my enjoyment if they didn't.

Other users have already given more thoughtful comments, but I just wanted to add that the Broly movie kind of added an element that if used well could even justify not much planet destruction: characters so powerful that they randomly break through dimensions while fighting.
Then again, as you say the Granolah arc had battles between the strongest mortal fighters we have ever seen and the planet was...fine. Only the Cerealians ruins were in danger because Vegeta specifically targeted thrm.
