Cartoon Network India has just announced on their socials from October 1st Dragon Ball Super will once again be airing Mondays-Fridays at 10pm.
India has quite the revisionist history when it comes to this show. Super originally premiered in India September 1, 2017 with the Bang Zoom dub for episodes 1-27 and Funimation for the remainder. As I understand it Super was rerun for years with no other language options until May 22, 2022 when it started airing with Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubs, and last year Cartoon Network India launched Malayalam and Kannada feeds. Sometime that summer Super began airing in those languages.
The series has often aired Sundays at 2pm but at the end of August this year original Dragon Ball (which will also begin airing the same days at 9pm) took its place.
It's great to see the channel is giving Dragon Ball more timeslots rather than just marathoning the same shows like Teen Titans Go, Grizzy And The Lemmings, Larva and The Tom & Jerry Show over and over again.
