Hello, whenever I come to Kanzenshuu forums, I do one reply and then, right away, when I move into different topic and want to engage there, I get the message from the subject.

I don't think that anybody misses me, but frankly, it's the main reason why I am not engaging in this community anymore and have no idea, how to break this curse.

Is it trouble on my receiver, so I might check cookies, delete history and what not, or am I doomed for some reason?
Am I the only one with this issue?

You just have to wait 10 minutes before you submit a new post. I'm relatively a newcomer here, but I always assumed that this is an intended feature to prevent flooding? Other forums have similar time limits, it's not an uncommon practice.

Ah OK. I am quite old user here and never had this trouble since like a year ago max?

Yeah, I have noticed that phpBB forums do that against bots as I was digging into the issue, but never experienced it before and now on many communities I am part of.

Will try that 10 minutes rule.

It is a meassure to prevent Spam posting... I had not noticed it was 10 minutes, I was tjinking it was about 5... usually by reading the posts the 10 minutes pass quickly.

I understand the reasoning why it was introduced but it's absolutely killing the discussion and discourages people from posting alltogether.

Mike is of course free to disagree and may prefer less acrivity, but as someone who's been inolved and ran forums across the years I quickly saw and found out that a thing like this is always a discussion and activity killer, no matter the intentions. Set it to 30/60 secs max to combat most of the spam, but anything more will just have the negative effect.

While I'm at it - unless a forum has a gigantic active userbase then splitting it into too many subforums is also a discussion and activity killer. People say they want everything separate and then they just end up not posting in separate sections because it's a hassle. Kanzenshuu forums already lost a lot of activity to reddit and social media in the past decade so all the more reasons not to do it. If it was up to me I would've combined all General, In-Universe and Super and Daima sections into one (and Kai but that one is such old news I don't understand why is it still separate). The topics are largely the same anyway and the main different thing is the episodes topics, or 1 recently released movie. We don't even have 2 shows running at the same time anyway so what's the point.

All in my opinion and experience of course, no offence meant, just my observations across many forums throughtout the years. I wish Kanzenshuu was more active as forums are infinitely better for good discussions IMO than the awful upvote system of reddit or a mess that is twitter
