Dragon Ball Daima JRPG?
I know we're getting Kakarot DLC, but seeing as how Daima borrows a lot from Dragon Quest and Blue Dragon, it would fit a turn-based JRPG really nicely. Would anyone want this?

Re: Dragon Ball Daima JRPG?
Yeah, I would love a turn-based Dragon Ball Daima JRPG. But I don't think it's something that Bandai Namco should consider because DBZ and DB Super are the highest-selling sub-franchises in the larger Dragon Ball franchise.

I can see a Switch exclusive in the vein of the old handheld games like Attack of the Saiyans.TechExpert2021 wrote: Tue Oct 22, 2024 5:19 pm Yeah, I would love a turn-based Dragon Ball Daima JRPG. I would love it.
Unfortunately I can already imagine a suit saying: "Dragon Ball is all about high pace battles! Turn based doesn't fit. Denied!"
However, The Breakers was given green light. There's hope, although if such a project went ahead I wouldn't expect a decent budget. Which could turn into a monkey paw scenario.

Re: Dragon Ball Daima JRPG?
That'd honestly be amazing to see. I'm not sure if Daima would be the best choice for a JRPG yet; these first two episodes haven't really given off a "playable" vibe or whatever. But I would love to see a Dragon Ball JRPG again, especially a turn-based one, we haven't gotten one of those since... I believe the random "Dragon Ball RPG: Boyhood Chapter" mobile game back in 2013 (edit: I can't believe I forgot about Fusions, that game really deserves a sequel). The franchise lends itself well to the genre, so I'd love to see a new one, no matter what series it's based on.
