Surprised this wasn't already a thread here to be honest, but since it's not, coming out of "posting retirement" (I still lurk and read quite a bit, just rare that I feel inclined to post nowadays sadly) to make it myself.
For Sparking! Zero, one of the more exciting aspects is the ability to craft our own stories and battles courtesy of the Custom Battles - it was one of the things most hyped up prior to release, and now that the game has actually been out for going on two weeks now, it's a pretty cool feature in actuality as well. Granted, the scope of the dialogue options and the difficulty going through them makes creating them way more of a chore than they need to be to be honest, but it's a labor of love to some degree.
Perusing the World Library is fine and all too, but I thought to myself, hey - I bet the users of Kanzenshuu have probably been whipping up some fun custom battles of their own too. So here is where you can post any custom battles you've made and would like to show off, or give further details about them that you couldn't really get across in the limits of the World Library itself.
I'll start things off with my own first creation, 'Krillin's Growth', on the PS5 World Library.
The idea behind this one was the tidbit from the old Dragon Ball Online timeline of Kuririn eventually taking over as the new master of the Turtle School from Roshi, so Kamesennin puts him through the paces with a training match. If there was dialogue in game that I could use to better get that idea across in the match itself though...I certainly wasn't finding it (again, the main issue with this mode is the horrendous organization of dialogue options and the lackluster ability of the filters to find what you're looking for). Still, I'm pretty happy with how things turned out. I think the match came out pretty challenging without being too absurdly difficult either all things told - it took me a couple of tries and tinkering with it to win it so that I could post it, and that's with the knowledge of what I did on the back-end that other players wouldn't have, haha.
In case the picture eventually goes down or is too blurry to really read, the ID is 4-229-233-654. Let me know what you guys think, and show off some of your own creations for me and others to check out!

That is a great idea for a battle, I like those kind of stories that act as lost episodes so to speak. I would be glad to share some of mine and play others later if I can. On this topic, it is worth noting the platform you are playing on as these custom battles are not cross compatible.
Thanks, hope you enjoy it if you do give it a play! Most of the ideas I have for matches are in that vein, though at least one I want to do I won't actually be able to make until we get the Superhero DLC.

I completely forgot that that was the case, oops. Edited my post to now mention that that custom story is for the PS5 version, thanks for the head's up about that.

Nice thread.
Currently, I don't have time to take screenshots and upload them, but I can provide a rundown.
I have been quite simple with the ideas, nothing groundbreaking, just Freeza rampaging on Namek and Nappa running down on the Z Gang on Earth.
Freeza.
Stage: Name
Timelimit: no
Swap: no
Characters: 2nd form Freeza vs Piccolo, Gohan, Vegeta, Goku
Conditions:
-when Piccolo's health is around 50%, Freeza transforms into Alien II (and HP and Ki are fully restored)
-when Gohan is defeated, Freeza transforms into his final form (HP and Ki fully restored)
-after Freeza uses that Bang attack(have to use every move but the easiest one), Goku will transform (with full HP and Ki restored). (There's also a scene with SS Goku looking raw and all)
-After Freeza's health is reduced 50% or more, he will go FP, with 50% HP and Ki restored. I see now that I could also add Krilin while Goku is fighting to get him killed and use that as trigger for SS
Namek can be blown up too, triggering Freeza's 100% form, but I haven't tried that yet
Piccolo, Vegeta, Goku.
Stage: Namek
Timelimit: no
Swap: no
Vs: 2nd form Freeza
Conditions:
- when Freeza's health is 50%, turns into Alien II with full health and ki, and Vegeta enters.
- when Alien Freeza's health is 45%, turns into FF(full health and ki) and Goku will enter.
- After losing the orange gi, I turn Goku into SS, restoring his HP and ki.
- When Freeza's HP is below 37% he goes FP and regains full ki and 50% of HP. Pretty much the same one as before but from the other side.
Nappa, Vegeta
Stage: Open Field
Timelimit: no
Swap: no
Vs. Tenshinhan, Krilin, Piccolo, Gohan, Goku
Conditions:
- When Krilin's health goes below 40%, he is replaced by Piccolo (you can force this even if Swap is deactivated*)
- When Gohan's health goes below 35% Goku enters.
- When Vegeta's health goes below 40%, he turns into an ape.
*Still a work in progress, not sure if Krilin comes back after Piccolo dies, but that can be fixed with forced swaps. Maybe a Saibaimen could be thrown into the mix. Nothing groundbreaking, really, just a fun way to retell some big fights from Z.
Base Broly
Stage: Ruined City
Timelimit: no
Swap: no
Vs: Gohan, Trunks, Piccolo, Vegeta, Goku
Spectator: LSS Broly (for cutscenes)
Conditions:
- When Broly turns SS, his HP and Ki are restored
- When Broly turns LSS his HP and Ki are restored Pretty straightforward, nothing you cannot do in regular battle mode except for the restoration of health per transformation.
I could also add Goku using sparking mode more often for the final battle.
Here are my episodes so far, always including five cutscenes and various special conditions.
One of them imagines a situation that can't possibly happen in the story, while the other two are scenarized in a way that could legitimately happen in a regular chapter/episode, a bit like a filler episode of sorts.
All dialogues have been carefully chosen for hours to make sense with the storyline, avoiding any sentence that didn't make sense gramatically due to the replaceable words, for every sentence to sound natural.
BUT the thing is that I play with the French version, so while the sentences I chose are all perfectly natural in French, I can't vouch for whether they'll look as natural in your language as they look in French. Sorry!
In all episodes, a mix of tracks from the game and from the various anime are heard during cutscenes and various stages of the battles.
____________________________________________________________________ BROLY VERSUS BROLY
(ID : 4-966-252-529)
In an impossible reality, DBS Broly faces a Saiyan who looks a bit like him (the destructive DBZ Broly) and who is ruining the city and putting everyone in danger.
As he tries to keep his temper in check like he's been taught at Beerus' place by Goku and Vegeta, he hopes to be powerful enough to win without going Full Power as he is unsure of whether he will keep his sanity if he lets his power explode. But that will be decided by the way the battle unfolds.
- The battle starts as Super Saiyan DBS Broly VS Legendary Super Saiyan Z Broly, with the Ultimate Attack and transformations being locked.
- If DBS Broly falls under a certain amount of life (25% or less), a cutscene will trigger. At the end of the scene, he transforms into Super Saiyan Full Power, regains his health and gains access to his Ultimate Attack.
- If the player wins without the Ultimate Attack, he will trigger the regular victory scene (regardless of his current form).
- If the player wins thanks to the Ultimate Attack (which is only accessible if he transformed), he will trigger the special victory cutscene.
Full story/cutscenes spoilers:
Spoiler:
- DBS Broly arrives, unable to stand DBZ Broly's destructive impulses as it puts people in danger, and is ready to stop him. DBZ Broly is unimpressed and considers him another insect that will suffer like the rest and the two fiercely throw themselves in the battle.
- If the player falls below 25% of health, DBS Broly is having trouble and seems overwhelmed, never having imagined that the fight could go so badly for him. He resolves that there's no other way than to attempt to go full power, hoping his blind rage will protect the Earth and letting it take over to trigger his final transformation.
- If the player wins without having to resort to the Ultimate Attack, DBS Broly only needs his Super Saiyan form to end the fight. While DBZ Broly is exhausted and asks what his opponent is, he loses track of his position, only to be surprised by an unforgiving DBS Broly flying above and charging a gigantic blast that finishes him. But more battles are probably on the way for DBS Broly...
- If the player wins with the Ultimate Attack, DBS Broly has his Super Saiyan Full Power form to end the battle. Being nothing but a roaring, raging beast against this opponent, he mercilessly rushes at DBZ Broly to stick him to the ground and fully lets his power explode into his "beam yell" attack, creating a massive explosion. DBS Broly now has learned, much to his comfort, that he can release his full power and focus his rage on his opponent when he strikes, being otherwise focused enough to not go on a total rampage. This should prove invaluable in upcoming battles.
- If the player is defeated, DBZ Broly sadistically wonders how he can torture him the unconscious DBS Broly before finishing him. But an unforgiving, cold voice right behind him is head: Beerus has appeared right next to him, seeming frustrated by what he more or less calls an irritating pain in the ass. He doesn't waste a second in vaporizing DBZ Broly effortlessly. As he flies away with Whis, the God of Destruction wonders if he's going soft to save the situation like that, to which Whis can't help but agree, dismissing the conversation by proposing to go to Bulma's place for a lunch.
A TEST OF SON GOKU'S STRENGTH
(ID : 2-852-368-006)
Called by Whis for some reason, Beerus cuts his training session with Vegeta to meet with the angel and Goku, only to find out in horror that the Great Priest is here. For Zeno's pleasure, Goku will have to show how well he can fare against a God of Destruction like Beerus after all the evolution he went through since their last battle.
With his current strength, how far will Goku have to push his transformations to be a match for Beerus, if he can ever be?
- To test how far he has to go against Beerus, Goku will gradually transform as the fight proves harder. He will go Super Saiyan at 75% of his health, Super Saiyan God at 50% and Super Saiyan Blue at 25%.
- Beerus, as a God of Destruction, is a formidable opponent that is set to be agressive with a difficulty of 18/20. And that isn't even showing all that he's got in store, as he will gradually up his game as Goku transform, concretely regaining all of his health everytime Goku goes to the next form.
- If Goku somehow manages to win before his health is empty despite the relentless conditions, he will trigger the special victory cutscene.
- When Goku loses all of his health, a cutscene will trigger. At the end of the scene, Goku is replaced by Ultra Instinct -Sign- Goku, with his health fully replinished and Beerus' agressivity/difficulty reduced to about 12-13/20.
- If Ultra Instinct -Sign- Goku falls below 50% of health, he will transform into Ultra Instinct, with his health filled up once more, all best boosts activated and Beerus' agressivity/difficulty extremely reduced.
- If Goku wins with any Ultra Instinct form, he will trigger the regular victory cutscene.
Full story/cutscenes spoilers:
Spoiler:
- Beerus arrives wondering why Whis wanted him to come and see Goku, but he is shocked to find the Great Priest here. Vegeta, arriving alongside him, has a bad feeling about this, knowing something's up if they have such a visit. The Great Priest proceeds to tell them about the plan to test Goku's strength against Beerus for Zeno's pleasure (it is unclear if Zeno simply wants a report or if he'll be watching on GodTube).
- If the player beats Beerus before the Ultra Instinct, Goku goes gradually through his transformations, warning Beerus that Super Saiyan Blue might be enough to hurt him now. This proves right as both are getting equally tired despite Goku not being beyond Blue, and the Great Priest already deems this satisfying. The Saiyan taunts the God about not even being in Ultra Instinct yet and somehow being able to keep up with him, to which Beerus quickly replies in defense that if he's supposed to be scared, it won't work as even Ultra Instinct would be no match for him. But Vegeta, watching the scene, can't help but admit that Goku's training has really paid off, as the gap between him and Beerus seems tighter than ever.
- If the player loses all of his health, Beerus taunts Goku - who is lying on the ground -, telling him that he doesn't stand a chance if he doesn't use Ultra instinct. Being back against the wall, Goku silently picks himself up, knowing he's right and triggers the Ultra Instinct -Sign- form, much to Beerus' excitement, as the God backs away from the shock wave of the transformation admitting with a smile that he lovest he way things are unfolding.
- If the player beats Beerus with either form of the Ultra Instinct, Goku goes full Ultra Instinct, letting his power explode much to the Great Priest enjoyment to see the "Goku we know" from the Tournament of Power. Goku rushes at Beerus feeling he's getting more and more mastery of this technic. As the battle rages on, Beerus is happy to admit that he didn't expect such a great show and that it was a truly beautiful fight, but Goku feels like it's still not enough for him to win. Back on the ground, the Saiyan is recovering, saying he should have known it wouldn't be easy. Whis says he does have become enormously more powerful in a very small amount of time and the Great Priest conceides that Zeno should be more than satisfied with this. As Vegeta and Goku sit on their own, Vegeta says that there's still a long way to go for them and Goku replies that at least he showed the best he could do. Eager to keep training, Vegeta offers Goku to bring the scale back to an equal ground for now, going Saiyan versus Saiyan together.
- If the player is defeated, Vegeta concludes that the gap is just too deep between Goku and Beerus and the Great Priest laments that Goku probably suffered the final attack of this fight and that he expected better. Beerus, still filled with power and hovering over an exhausted Goku in superiority, asks if that's really all the power he has, and Goku has to confess that the God's power is overwhelming and that he's sorry he wasn't up to the challenge. The Great Priest turns to Vegeta, apologizing to put him in a situation where he has to take over in addition to Goku for the show to be worth it, much to Vegeta's shock and anxiety. Having no choice, Vegeta heads toward Beerus to face him and as a tornado of blinding attacks start filling the improvised arena, one question remain: how far will Vegeta be able to go to save the stakes?
After a training, an exhausted Goku falls asleep and his mind starts wandering through memories of Vegetto and Gogeta, soon leading him to have a thrilling dream about a bout between those two! Which fusion will he find most inspiring when he wakes up?
- Transformations are locked and will happen gradually over time for both warriors, as they up their games together.
- After 30 seconds since the beginning of the battle, Gogeta will go Super Saiyan and Vegetto will immediately respond by doing the same, with both warriors returning to full health. A cutscene will trigger and after the scene, Gogeta will automatically land a series of combo attacks on Vegetto (Blast 2 specific to that level of transformation), to which Vegetto will respond by automatically landing a series of combo attacks on Gogeta (Ultimate Blast reduced to 70% efficiency), bringing them both to about the same amount of health.
- After 75 seconds since the beginning of the battle, a similar situation will trigger: they will both go Super Saiyan Blue, regain their full health, and both automatically land their new "Blast 2" attacks specific to that level of transformation, bringing them to a similar health level again.
Full story/cutscenes spoilers:
Spoiler:
- After a harsh solo training session in the wilderness, an exhausted Goku falls asleep. As his mind drifts away, he has visions of Vegetto's battle against Zamasu and Gogeta's battle against Broly. Soon, much to his surprise, his mind shows him Gogeta and Vegetto flying together to a place and getting ready to face-off. Goku is excited to find out who would win.
- Once they go Super Saiyan, Gogeta compliments Vegetto by saying he's just as cool as him, to which Vegetto replies that he thinks pretty much the same and that he bets Gogeta wants a fair fight (hence why he followed suit when seeing him turn Super Saiyan). Gogeta rushes saying this will be Super Gogeta against Super Vegetto, and Vegetto prepares to attack as well, ready to go for the next level.
- Once they go Super Saiyan Blue, Gogeta proposes that they go beyond their limits. Vegetto agrees to not hold back. As both let their powers explode, Gogeta reminds Vegetto that they are on a limited time and Vegetto gets the message, saying they have to finish this once and for all right now. Both prepare their full power attacks, with Gogeta inciting his opponent to show what "Vegetto Blue" can do, and Vegetto inciting Gogeta to show him what he can do too.
- If Gogeta wins, he states that maybe Vegetto hadn't thought about it, but Gogeta simply has a headstart on him due to having more training time behind him (being "born" further in the timeline when Goku and Vegeta have become more powerful). Vegetto admits how great Gogeta is, but says he will go through training himself so that he can beat him and demands a rematch right now to start the training. Gogeta pushes him back with his fist with a smile on his face, being more than happy to oblige and ready to do this all day. Goku wakes up, realizing it was a dream and feeling inspired by Gogeta.
- If Vegetto wins, Gogeta admits he might not be as strong as he thought. Vegetto says he might simply not come from the most efficient form of fusion, but that they can fight again if he comes back to see him another day. But Gogeta doesn't want it that way and gets back to action, charging a strong attack, saying it's not over yet and that he'll only grow stronger. Vegetto reacts by charging a powerful attack of his own and commends his determination but says that he still has more to give too. Goku wakes up, realizing it was a dream and feeling inspired by Vegetto.
Cool thread idea! I'm on PS5 as well. Here are mine so far:
"The Power Saiyans" ID: 1-747-698-971 Characters: SSG Goku, SSB Vegeta, SSFP Broly, SSR Black, SS Trunks vs. Anilaza Stage: City Alternate Failure Ending: Yes (but it's nothing special) Premise: Team Saiyans have arrived! Can our heroes stop the rampaging Kaiju Anilaza from destroying the city? Notes: This is just a straightforward Super Sentai concept based on all the hair colors, which I thought would be fun. It was my first ever custom battle so it's on the simpler side. Anilaza is very durable but weak to blasts, and with a team of 5 Saiyans this shouldn't be too difficult to clear.
"Surpass Beerus, Uub!" ID: 0-514-179-368 Characters: Oob (base) vs. Beerus Stage: Islands Alternate Failure Ending: Yes Premise: Several years after the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai, Goku lures Beerus to Earth with the flimsy promise that Cheelai is there waiting for him. Annoyed at first, Beerus assumes Goku wants a rematch. However, Goku has a different idea – he wants to put his own student's skills to the test against the God of Destruction! Notes: With only a 12.5% clear rate currently, this one's pretty tough. That was intentional since I wanted the player to feel like they're really fighting Beerus at full strength. Nothing too complicated about the mechanics of this fight, but I enjoyed making it!
"Cell Jr. Returns" ID: 2-932-432-797 Characters: Android 17 vs. Cell Jr. (x5) Stage: Islands Alternate Failure Ending: Yes Premise: One day, Park Ranger 17 receives a distress call from Monster Island. What he finds there astonishes him – a horde of Cell Juniors! Can he save the sanctuary? Notes: As you might have guessed, this is based on one of the Super manga's bonus chapters and details how 17 actually met the Cell Juniors. I designed this to be something like a survival fight where he regains a bit of health after taking down each opponent, and without the ability to charge ki, it's a pretty interesting challenge.
"Arch-Enemy Brothers" ID: 4-332-172-937 Characters: Golden Freeza vs. Metal Cooler Stage: Rocky Land (Night) Alternate Failure Ending: Yes Premise: Freeza has been revived! Now having trained for four months and obtaining a brand new form, preparations are ready to begin his invasion of Earth. But first, he has unfinished business with a certain someone in another corner of the galaxy... Notes: This is a "canon" (headcanon of course) interpretation of Cooler where the Metal Cooler form is different than how it works in The Return of Cooler. Cooler has a hidden transformation up his sleeve that his brother didn't know about, and it's silver!
"I Am Attractive!" ID: 1-797-031-901 Characters: Zarbon vs. Roasie, Kakunsa, Ribrianne Stage: Islands (Evening) Alternate Failure Ending: No Premise: Zarbon is vacationing on an... erm, vacation planet in Universe 2. All seems well, until he overhears Ribrianne's sisters praising her as the most beautiful in the universe. Zarbon naturally takes great offense (who could possibly be prettier than he?!) and decides to challenge Ribrianne. Who is most deserving of this title? Find out! Notes: Comic relief episode based on the Beerus-Ribrianne gag from the Super manga. It has a pretty funny twist at the end that I thought fit well with the joke.
"Welcome to Planet Sadala!" ID: 3-813-113-324 Characters: Cabba, Caulifla, Kale vs. Saibaman (x4), Bojack Stage: Rocky Land (Evening) Alternate Failure Ending: No Premise: Shortly after the Tournament of Power, the Saiyans of Universe 6 continue to train together. However, a deadly pirate has arrived to wipe out and resell Planet Sadala for monetary gain. Can Cabba and friends save their home? Notes: Bojack is just a generic space mercenary here. This fight has a few auto events, such as Bojack's transformation, the Kefla fusion and a mid-battle cutscene after the Saibamen are defeated, but the individual Saiyans' transformations can be used manually.
"Ultra Movement Turns the Tables!" ID: 3-838-345-750 Characters: Roshi (base) vs. Cell (perfect form) Stage: Cell Games Arena Alternate Failure Ending: No Premise: A few days before the Cell Games, Roshi secretly journeys to Cell's arena to challenge him! Cell finds this preposterous, of course; Roshi isn't anywhere close to him in power. But it would appear there's a move he's been wanting to test out... Notes: I'm pretty sad that this has a 0% clear rate, given that the intro cutscene is very clear about what to do to make this fight drastically easier. In any case, follow the instructions to give Roshi an insane buff that lasts for about 10 seconds, repeating whenever necessary.
"Yajirobe, the World's Strongest Warrior" ID: 3-875-228-984 Characters: Yajirobe vs. Chaozu, Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Kuririn, Mr. Satan Stage: Open Field (Night) Alternate Failure Ending: No Premise: Yajirobe has arrived to prove he's the strongest Earthling of all! Nuff said. Notes: Another comic relief episode.
"Goku Black Unleashed" ID: 1-132-424-507 Characters: Black vs. Turles (stand-in for "Kakarot" in the episode), Raditz, Nappa, Vegeta Stage: Planet Namek Alternate Failure Ending: Yes Premise: Having succeeded in achieving their Zero Mortal Plan in the future, Black and Zamasu decide to travel to other universes, dimensions and timelines to ensure all mortals are erased from the fabric of reality itself. They find a world where Kakarot never hit his head as a child and thus joined the surviving Saiyans. Black resolves to eliminate this dimension's Goku. Notes: My most popular episode so far. The victory ending has a twist that I've always imagined would eventually happen to Black and Zamasu if they never merged and were allowed to continue their plan unhindered.

Just got through trying each of yours. They were pretty great! I'd say my personal favorite of the three would be 'A Test of Son Goku's Strength', but 'Gogeta and Vegetto' was a pretty close second really.
You might be happy to know that the dialogue comes across pretty well in English as well (I'm pretty particular about that kind of thing when working on mine as well). There's a few oddities here and there, but for the most part it's easy enough to follow along the scenarios you've presented. Though, I did get a laugh at one of Broly's lines in the Broly Versus Broly one, where Super Broly gets a line of dialogue along the lines of 'it's time to throw down for realsies!'. Can only imagine that probably read differently in French.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know how the Follow function in the World Library works? I can go to a page to see my Favorited matches, but I can't seem to find one where you look at a list of your Followed creators and check out if they've made anything new since you last looked or not.

Edited to say that I've been playing my way through a handful of yours so far too. Actually managed to beat the Roshi one, though it took me a second try (the first time I almost had him but then combo-ed myself into a Kamehameha he was already blasting, I have no one to blame but myself). And I still can't beat Beerus with Uub, gah! Gonna be taking a few more cracks at that one.
Also 'I Am Attractive' is pitch perfect perfection, no notes, well done.

Haha, thanks! That one didn't get too many plays so I was hoping someone would enjoy it.
Just got around to playing yours as well, and wow, that was challenging. I got a kick out of both endings; love episodes like this with humor in them but also are inspired by existing lore or backstories.
Gonna take a stab at Cold Skin's episodes as soon as I find time. "A Test of Son Goku's Strength" already sounds fun.

Thanks, hope you enjoy it if you do give it a play! Most of the ideas I have for matches are in that vein, though at least one I want to do I won't actually be able to make until we get the Superhero DLC.
Tried it, I like the use of that Super Kuririn. I know your premise was DBO based but it made me think back to the episode with the mirage island where Kuririn fought Super Shenlong.
Here is one of mine. It is somewhat basic but out of the ones I have made so far it is the one that feels the most complete. I am going back now and reworking some of my other ones.
System: PS5
Premise: Sometime after the ToP, Goku is feeling spiritless and in need of a new challenge. He gathers the DBs and asks Shenlong to fight someone with drive like himself...
I've played through all the episodes posted in this thread thus far.
I'm glad that you guys take it to heart to scenarize the episodes with cutscenes (I've played a few episodes that didn't care to create a single cutscene or dialogue and just had classic fights intro poses and win poses, which doesn't satisfy me, hence no "like").
So I gave you likes, since it was a good story time to go through in all cases, you guys made the proper efforts!
I can confirm that due to the translations, there's bound to be unexpected surprises when you check out episodes coming from all over the world! For example, "Attractive" comes as "Not bad" in French, so it's possible that some French players will take it as a compliment about fighting skills and give a line or a title like "Not Bad, Goku!" and it will be shown in English as "Attractive, Goku!" for example. With all the translations, you can only really vouch for the natural feel of your own language, but the general story still comes through clearly I guess!
And Mr Baggins is extremely prolific for something that takes quite some time to create (especially the tedious dialogue search for every single line). I hope I don't mess up and "victory/defeat" stats, but for episodes that you stated as having a failure cutscene, I had to replay them and purposely lose to check the scene.
I can't edit my original post, but I used "thumbnail choice screen" screencaps to show glimpses of what my episodes contain, so I'll post them here!
(Those are the exact same that I posted further above with all the info, not new ones!)

Oh yeah, that line rings no bell to me, so it must be translated in a more generic way in French like "it's time to go all out" or "it's time to fight seriously now"!
But who knows, maybe Broly has started picking up the way some of other people speak! It was surely not intended though!

For example, "Attractive" comes as "Not bad" in French, so it's possible that some French players will take it as a compliment about fighting skills and give a line or a title like "Not Bad, Goku!" and it will be shown in English as "Attractive, Goku!" for example.
Damn, that's unfortunate. I have a whole episode centered on that phrase as I'm sure you've noticed, and the reason I chose "attractive" to begin with is that I couldn't find "beautiful" anywhere in the list of replacement words. It seemed like the closest approximation, so it's disappointing to hear that (at least) the French equivalent of that selection has a completely different connotation.
I'm definitely gonna assume it was the English translation that dropped the ball here, since the state of our game localization isn't exactly at its best these days. Hopefully everything else came across clearly enough, though.

From what I've noticed (and I could be wrong) it seems the clear percentage only factors in either initial losses or exclusive losses. But even if that's not the case, no worries at all. It's only concerning for me if I'm getting something weird like a 0% win rate.
And yeah, I've already created way more than I ever expected to make this soon! I still have more ideas in the tank, but they mostly involve Super Hero characters and transformations. I'll probably take a break and wait until the DLC before I get started on additional episodes.
I just finished all three of your episodes and I'm super impressed by the effort you put into them, especially mechanically. You did a couple of things I didn't even know was possible; I only just recently learned that you can set up multiple victory endings, so I'll have to make use of that for a future episode at some point.
Modern DB story arc scores:
Spoiler:
Battle of Gods (2013 film): 9/10
Resurrection 'F' (2015 film): 7/10
Universe 6 (manga arc): 8/10
Future Trunks (manga arc): 7/10
Universe Survival (manga arc): 8.5/10
Broly (2018 film): 9.5/10
Galactic Patrol Prisoner (manga arc): 6/10
Granolah the Survivor (manga arc): 3/10
Super Hero (2022 film and manga arc): 7.5/10
Dragon Ball Daima (2024 anime): 9/10
In case anyone hasn't figured it out yet, I figured out how to go to your Followed List finally. It's under the search function - on PS5, just hit triangle from the main hub of the World Library, then go down to 'Search Followers'. It's the easiest way to check on people you've followed to see if they've made anything else new you might want to check out.

Premise: Sometime after the ToP, Goku is feeling spiritless and in need of a new challenge. He gathers the DBs and asks Shenlong to fight someone with drive like himself...
Spoiler:
That one was tough, I barely got through the final phase of it with a little bit of my health left. Can't imagine how crazy it's sequel's gonna be.
And speaking of sequels, working on a second custom match of my own now, which will be a direct sequel (and conclusion) of my first one's scenario. Not 100% sure when it'll be done as I still work the next few days, and I'm having to tinker with things to make it work right (it's got a lot more moving parts behind the scenes than that first one did), but hopefully won't be much longer.

Saiyans Fight Together!
This was my first battle on release, so I didn't really have a hang of how everything worked.
Spoiler:
Inherited Pride
More story centric battle where I'm confident with the mechanics and fucking about with the effects
Spoiler:
Stop The Majin Buu Ressurection Plan!
Less story heavy battle and more just trying to come up with an interesting challenge for a battle.
I wish I remembered to make the characters on the battle menu secret though... Just pretend you can't see anybody past Dabura, okay? 'Cus completing this mission for test runs was not easy.

Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.

So, it ended up taking a lot longer than I'd meant it to (more on that in a bit), but I finally finished my second custom battle! And since I like the look of the format he used, I'll be borrowing Mr. Baggins' post formatting more or less.
"A Test of Krillin's Power"
PS5, ID: 1-108-643-434
Premise: After intensive training with Muten Roshi, Kuririn has finally increased his power greatly, becoming much stronger than he's ever been before. Still though, he's unsure if he's ready to fully take on the mantle of the next Turtle Hermit. After all, he's not even the strongest member of the Turtle School. So Roshi proposes a match with that very person - and so, asking for a favor to borrow their planet for the battle, Goku soon teleports himself and Kuririn (along with Roshi, Android 18, and fellow Turtle School member Yamcha) to the Land of the Kais for one final test. But can Kuririn really keep up with Goku?
Notes: This match proved a hell of a lot harder to put together than my previous one, holy crap. There's so much more going on on the back end of it in comparison to my first one, and that's not even counting the stuff that I couldn't get to work right (which I can't fully get into without spoiling some stuff, so let's just say I originally had two ending cut scenes in mind but I could only ever get it to trigger one of them). I also struggled even more with getting the dialogue I wanted chosen. At one point I wasn't even sure there was any dialogue akin to 'let's go home', only to find it by fluke while looking for something else, causing me to have to go back in and RE-EDIT a second time. This mode is both the greatest and the worst all at once. In the end though, I'm fairly happy with how this one turned out. Fair warning, it's a good bit tougher than the previous one, but I wanted it to be more challenging, considering. Hopefully it's still within the realm of challenging but fun though!

^ I tried it and gave it a well-deserved like! Glad you didn't make it extremely difficult (I already had the special battle against Beerus to get on my nerves lately, and unsuccessfully at that)! And of course, the care in storytelling is there!
As for you Kanassa, I obviously can't test yours since it's on PC and I'm on PS5!
(I did try the ID, then I was surprised to read "This fight doesn't exist" and then I saw that you did specify "PC" on your pics!)
Could you guys tell me something thanks to your local language?
In the French game, the translation shows twice the same names for the Son family, as I've noticed the French translators in the various games often have the instruction to convert all instances of Goku into the full name Son Goku.
Since in the French game, in the list of characters, we have twice "Son Goku", "Son Gohan" and "Son Goten" one after the other, can you confirm that for you, the first is actually the full "Son Goku" name while the second is just "Goku" for you, for example? And "Son Gohan" followed by "Gohan", I imagine?

I was wondering why there were so many names that were just the same name twice. I don't think I've seen 'Son' used, just 'Goku' and 'Gohan' listed twice.

Thank you! That was very much what I was trying to go for with it, yeah. I wanted it to be particularly more difficult than the Roshi one I did prior, but still much more feasible to win compared to some of the harder battles in the Bonus Battles.
I've now started work on my third one, though since I'm really only messing with the game on days I work when I get home, not 100% sure when it'll be ready. It's going for something very different from the previous two (though still very story-centric, as I'm thinking any of the ones I do probably will be).
I was curious about two things though that I wonder if anyone here might be able to help me with. 1) Once you've uploaded a battle to the World Library, can you delete it from your system without it removing it from the World Library? I hope so, otherwise those 50 battles may not be enough much further down the line. 2) I've played a couple of matches where there's dialogue mid-match, not just in the cut scenes. Where do you set that up if you wanted to for a match?

For 2) In Effect Setting you can set up Display Text and link it to any event that occurs like a character using a move or a certain HP threshold. Don't know about your first question though it would be easy to just set up a default one, upload, and then delete to see what happens. Going to follow up soon with some more and play more levels here through the weekend.
Here is a new episode of mine, centered around the nostalgia for the Cell era and teen Gohan.
SON GOHAN'S MENTOR
(ID : 0-311-454-970)
Spoiler:
Using only music and songs from the original Dragon Ball Z anime for the seven cutscenes and the battles themselves, you can go back to the good old day where Cell had just been defeated, on the eve of Trunks going back to his future.
Everyone went back home a few hours before, after using the Dragon Balls. But as the sun starts to set, Piccolo doesn't waste any time in wanting to train Gohan and test his newfound power. Trunks, already having his hair cut for his departure the next day, is intrigued by the awesome power levels he feels from afar (unlike Vegeta who has just given up on fighting, so it would be surprising to see him care...) and finds Piccolo training Gohan. This gives an idea to Piccolo, in order to better test Gohan: a duo against the young boy!
Brace yourself for a battle against those two! Their A.I. levels are only 5 but they still outnumber you and you shouldn't underestimate them!
I know it's a little farfetched that the guys would have battled on the same day Cell was defeated without enjoying a rest first, but I really wanting Trunks to be there too since he's one of the favorites of this era along with teen Gohan, plus it sorts of reverses the mentor/student relationship with Gohan for him. But since he leaves for his future on the next day as far as I remember, it needed to be on the same day.
And for those who don't care so much about the logic of when it does happen, good, because the dialogue doesn't mention it exactly, just that it's after Cell's defeat, so it could be weeks later if Trunks had stayed that long!
Specific mechanics (warning, this will spoil the way it all unfolds for you, gameplay-wise and a bit story-wise):
Spoiler:
- Base Gohan starts to fight Piccolo.
- At 50% health, Trunks will take over and go Super Saiyan, prompting Gohan to do the same. They will both use one unblockable Blast Hit from the get go, though the opponent's is only 50% while the player's is 100% - it's only fair since you're alone.
- When Trunks is beaten, Piccolo arrives and again, there is an exchange of one unblockable Blast Hit, with the same 50%-100% difference to be a bit more fair.
- Gohan regains quite a bit of health after the events.
- If you lose here, you get the Defeat cutscene, which is all about good mood and motivation for you to try again with a smile. The trio likes spending time together that way!
- If you win against Piccolo, it should be over, but somebody unexpectedly shows up, wanting Gohan to go full power with his latest transformation.
- It is theoretically impossible for you to lose this surprise battle, as going below 30% of health will trigger an event cutscene that gets you back to the top, with health, boosts and an automatic Blast Hit, and it keeps happening everytime you reach about 30% of health. It wouldn't make sense for you to lose in this form now.
- As a failsafe, in case the opponent still manages to beat you (for example by doing an Ultimate Attack when you were at 31% of health or something like that, you never know how unfortunate things can get sometimes), the "low health" event cutscene will play as a Special Defeat cutscene, since it can also act as a "to be continued" / "retry" scene.
