I wrote that I want to see these things: (I play offline mostly)

1.More custom movesets for characters with change of outfits, for example in story mode early goku has a moveset with meteor smash, kamehameha.... but when he trains with king kai he has moveset with kaioken and spirit bomb... but outside of story mode there is no way to select the goku without the kaioken and spiritbomb... I don't understand why its so easy to add these things... so we need more different movesets with different outfits...

2.Custom battles edit needs a search button to search for text to add as dialogue... its crazy that you have 10000 lines of text but can't search for anything, its very hard to find what you are looking for

3.World tournament mode would be nice to have the ability to add fighters into the poll of 7 opponent AI fighters.... currently its random which is ok but it would be amazing if I can pick the 7 opponent AI fighters that I want in the tournament I am creating... and then the draw can be random.

I talked about:

1. Vegeta's Story going into Super
2. Dragon Sim from BT3
3. Ultimate Battle from BT1 (100 fights in a row)
4. More cosmetics for all characters

I didn't see anything about Characters because it said that it would be later in the survey but I guess it was the last question?

I'm not against a Battle Pass as long as it's cosmetics only. Think a battle pass is better than buying a 20 dollar music DLC pack, like one battle pass could add a few songs from the anime or other games.

Wish I put something about characters because I would've said "Neko Majin, Tarble, SSJ3 Vegeta and LSSJ3 Broly"

Sparking Zero needs a search bar in custom battle mode. I hate scrolling so much just to find stuff.

This very much. Or at the very least alphabetize names/lines. I did my 1st custom battle this weekend and it took over an hour to put basic text together. May post it on my YouTube page later... :shh:

So at the beginning of the month, I took the plunge and bought the Japanese physical copy of Sparking Zero thru buygame2.com but it's taking ages to deliver due to the stupid Canada Post strike. Been waiting and waiting for any word and nothing. So I bought 10000¥ PSN gift card and bought the digital version $83 Canadian dollars. Just the base game itself. Don't know what DLC codes are bundled with the Japanese physical release.

Downloading it right now as we speak.

English subtitles and dub track available in Japanese release of Sparking Zero. I bought the Japanese release mainly for the Victory Pack DLC that I redeemed a while ago.

Update: still downloading the rest of the game but started it up. Game defaults in English if your system is set to English. Can't seem to start story mode yet as it is still downloading the rest of that 27gb. Will downloading that Victory Pack as soon as the downloading of the base game is done but apparently, it adds a few customization items and the V aura for the Saiyan characters. If you have the Japanese version (digital or physical), you can get the DLC for free if you buy a recent issue of V Jump. Or you can check with reddit. I believe each copy of that particular V Jump issue will provide you with 3 codes. One for each platform (PS5, Xbox and Steam).

I got to say, I am disappointed in the story mode. They put in so much effort into Goku's saga, but left a lot on the cutting room floor for the others.

Spoilers Ahead:
For example, in Gohan's saga you have Gohan Black with a character model & all, but in another what if, he fights Super Buu Piccolo, but they use the Super Buu model instead. Super Buu Piccolo is a canon form with a design, Gohan Black isn't. This makes it clear that they can give us what-if characters, but choose not to.

Jiren's is just basically easy mode path vs hard mode path. Goku Black just have all the same generic ending. How about a long path where he turns good or starts a cult or something?

Interestingt, so you get the original music plus english subtitles in the japanese version?

Probably yes. It's kinda similar to Sonic '06 and Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis (a quick-n-dirty GBA port of the original Mega Drive/Genesis game) being rushed to coincide with the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise's 15th anniversary in 2006, except that 1) DB Sparking Zero isn't that rushed to the level of those games I mentioned, and 2) the development team (Spike Chunsoft) isn't split into two like what Sega did with Sonic Team (Sega did this to have one side finish developing Sonic '06 and the other to develop the Wii-exclusive Sonic game Sonic and the Secret Rings).

Yeah. Story Mode is ridiculous + slide show + roster is lame + lots of game breaking bugs that people use. It's clearly the game wasn't finished.

Rush attacks being so darn slippery. You used to dread rush attacks because of their tracking, now I have point blank launches against fatigue opponents missing. Some that clearly hit, the game thinks & makes my character go around and miss anyway. They are now glorified repositionals.

Sparking Zero's story mode skims through a lot of the story. Less than an hour in, I'm already at the Buu Saga.

The game's story mode would be more interesting if it included in-game cutscenes with dialogue (or even 2D animated cutscenes like DBZ Ultimate Tenkaichi/DB Ultimate Blast). Making the in-game cutscenes simply static slideshows makes the cutscenes themselves feel bland.

I wish the developers would do that (only if they have the time and money). Probably for a version update.

Sparking Zero's story mode skims through a lot of the story. Less than an hour in, I'm already at the Buu Saga.
Goku's is the longest. 5 hours while the others were under 2, Goku Black's is under an hour. This is assuming you do all of the what ifs for each and watch the cut-scenes/slideshows as well.
