Dragon Ball Daima possibly coming to Adult Swim in Latin America

I must thank my buddy Cure Dragon 255 for sharing this article with me.

We know TOEI loves their TV deals, even in this day and age, and recently Adult Swim teased Daima coming to their channel in Latin America.

Here's the tweet.

The channel's schedule is updated periodically, and currently there is a listing under the pseudonym "AS PREMIERE". If this is indeed the premier of Dragon Ball Daima on Adult Swim it will arrive on the channel on January 20th at 9:09pm ARG-CHI | 7:09pm COL-PER.

It is not known if a local Spanish or Portuguese dub is in production, but given how insanely popular Dragon Ball is in Latin America I would think they are, and possibly well into the recording by now.

I also assume Daima will come to Adult Swim in the US as they've aired plenty of Dragon Ball for the last 10 years between Kai and Super.
Do you have any info about international non-English broadcasts about the Dragon Ball anime or manga translations/editions? Please message me. Researching for a future book with Dragon Ball scholar Derek Padula

Thank you for bringing the news here.

I follow several voice actors on X (twitter) and I have not heared anything about dub work yet.

It is safe to assume they will air the Spanish subtitled version. That is the same way the series can be currently watched in Netflix and I think Crunchy roll latam as well. Based on first hand experience I can only confirm it for Netflix.

Great news, long live Dragon Ball.
