Majin Kuu is the Real Villain! (Big Theory)

Post by Dragmobot12 » Fri Dec 27, 2024 6:00 pm

Alright, guys, get ready, because what I’m about to say is going to completely change everything we know about Dragon Ball Daima, and I’m talking about a theory so big that it might redefine the entire franchise:

After watching today’s episode, it’s clear to me that Majin Kuu isn’t just a random character, he’s going to become the biggest game-changer in the series, and possibly the most mind-blowing villain we've ever seen, one who will shift the entire dynamic of Dragon Ball going forward, and I’ll tell you why:

During the Tamagami 3 challenge, when Majin Duu was tasked with predicting impossible numbers, Kuu did something so insane that it has to be the most significant moment in the series so far—he predicted the numbers in a way that was mathematically impossible to foresee, not just by luck but with a level of precision and understanding of patterns and probabilities that only someone with a mind that transcends the entire universe could possibly have, meaning his intellect is so far beyond anything we've ever seen that it’s literally ridiculous.

And if he can calculate the uncalculable, imagine what he could do in a fight, a conflict, or any task, he could predict every move an opponent makes before they even think of it, counter every attack before it happens, and manipulate any situation to his advantage, making him potentially the most dangerous being in the Dragon Ball universe.

But here’s where it gets even crazier: did Kuu just develop these abilities now, or has he been quietly working on them all along, and has he been playing 4D chess with everyone, outsmarting them from the very beginning?

Think about it: when Kuu faces the Tamagami challenge, he sees how weak it is but realizes that if he wins, Arinsu will just throw more tasks at him, so he fakes losing on purpose, knowing that Arinsu will create a new Majin that’s dumber but stronger.

And Kuu, understanding this, plays dumb himself, pretending to have chocolate cravings (which he can control) so he can manipulate Arinsu into thinking he’s just an idiot who’s good at "shopping" to get chocolate for the new Majin.

And during the final test, Kuu knows that if he reveals his power level, Arinsu, who’s too dumb to know the answer, will focus on him more, so he lets Duu take the spotlight and says, “Hehe, all I did was watch.”

Boom, this entire thing is a master plan, and instead of getting the strongest Buu, we’re getting the smartest one, and now we’re looking at a potential showdown between the Strongest Mind (Kuu) vs the Strongest Body (Goku), a battle that could completely change the course of the series.

Because if Kuu’s intelligence is truly on the level of someone like Brainiac from DC Comics, capable of outthinking and outstrategizing everyone, then we’re in for a game-changing fight that could alter the very balance of power in the Dragon Ball universe.

And that’s something we’ve never seen before, this is next-level stuff, and if I’m right, Kuu isn’t just a villain, he’s the key to a whole new era of Dragon Ball.

I doubt it. At least, not by himself. I think he's fine with his wholesome sidekick role.

My theory for penultimate villain is a fusion between Kuu and Duu, which will prompt Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo to use their fusion items. Alternatively, the Tamagamis will fuse as a final test before they can summon the dragon.

The final, final villain will be someone using the third eye. This can be Gomah, Arinsu, or Glorio. I have a hunch it will be Glorio, given his similarity in appearance to Mira.
"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone." - Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball Super

(This is a little bit over-exuberantly phrased and I don't agree with the more grandiose "whole new era of Dragon Ball"-type elements of it, but) I like the general drift of this theory! There's something potentially persuasive about the basic idea that Kuu is lying low in hopes of becoming the Supreme Demon King.

Today's episode certainly established a genius-level intellect for Kuu (I dunno that I'd call what he was doing predictive like OP suggests - I think the scene was simply supposed to show him doing supernaturally fast mental arithmetic, which was the Tamagami challenge, but that's enough to establish his chops as a genius), and I think that if you look back at some of his wholesome-seeming actions, they can be looked at as manipulation in another light. I think you're right that his servility, at least, is an act, and he's setting up a rug-pull while Arinsu is wrapped up in her schemes and imagining she's the genius - Marbah noted that including Arinsu's essence via her spit would "share information without having to speak", so Kuu may have something of her ambition and knowledge of the way she intends to scheme - and, therefore, he may have inherited her goals.

He's also certainly ingratiating himself with Duu, acting like a supportive brother, giving him chocolate on demand, and helping him with problems so he succeeds. I think you're likely right that he's allying himself with Duu in opposition to all the other players, to make a play for the role of Supreme Demon King. On the other hand, therefore, I doubt he's faking his (relative) weakness because it looks like he needs Majin Duu - if he were really all that from a power perspective, he could've dispensed with subterfuge from the beginning and struck out on his own - so he's probably angling for a "brains-brawn" combination vaguely akin to the one between Babidi and Buu, or the one Arinsu imagines she's setting up with Duu (only more successful than either of these, obviously).
I would note that fadeddreams5 is also right to point out that the Third Eye has been set up as a Chekhov's Gun and I'd also note that Gomah has yet to make a proper move of his own, yet - he's a prime candidate to get hold of the Eye, since he wanted it so much from the beginning. If your theory holds, we could be looking at a 4-way fight between the Heroes, Gomah(+ eye?) and Degesu, Kuu and Duu, and Arinsu (and Glorio, if he doesn't defect?) - with Neva as a wildcard.

Anyway, I'll certainly be watching out for more hints from now on!

I know this is irony (or at least I hope so) but like...he didn't predict anything. He was just able to calculate the result. You don't need prediction for that. Only a very fast working mind. He literally saw them as they were appearing- the episode makes this literally a big point by showing how they reflected on his eyeball.

Honestly, it's not more impressive to me than feats Buu already did himself. Remember Super Buu could count the contents of a sand clock, and was able to deduce the position of every single human being on Earth just by a short walk around the Lookout.

The Third Eye is also obviously Hybris' belt, so that would be something worth considering.
