Old Broly's Advanced forms

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Old Broly's Advanced forms

Post by Hulk10 » Sat Jan 18, 2025 4:24 pm

Can old Broly's advanced forms be considered valid evolutions of the power of a Legendary Super Saiyan? The reason I ask is that old Broly is considered non canon.

Yeah sure. Why wouldn't they? All these transformations have him in his big buffy form. Don't they have the "Legendary" in the name too? Like LSSJ3, LSSJ4...

They are considered noncanon. I personally think they are valid but others might not agree.

Dragon Ball is at a point where everything is canon in its own way.

Actually, his other forms don't get the "Legendary" adjective, at least in most media.

The closest thing to a "Legendary" further form is probably his Super Saiyan 4 Full Power form... which is his regular SS4 plus damaged clothes, his chest scar and some extra bulging veins.
Note he also got a Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker form, but not a "regular" Super Full Power Saiyan 4 one.

Fair point.

they're evolutions of the initial LSS form, in the same way how regular golden SS2 and 3 are evolutions of regular SSJ1
