IF Daima ends with yet another fusion..... WHAT IF scenario

This is something that's on my mind since they introduced those fusion bugs in the earlier episodes. Apologies can't remember the episode number but it was before episode 8 I think probably episode 4 or 5 maybe even 6. From that moment on I said to myself why would they show this you're essentially spoiling the ending. Surely this is a misdirection ? But if its true...
It will be the worst DB content for me by a mile. For various reasons. I'm SO tired of fusion at this point. It's a gimmick that doesn't evoke anything besides oh yeah that thing, it's over now. I feel nothing. It was cool when it was first introduced but now it's no different to me than that asspull Beast transformation. I find fusion even worse because it's a cheat code and those are not fun after a while. You just know this fusion just ends any fight and it's just not cool or doesn't make me feel engaged in any way. To me the Broly movie died the moment they fused and I just knew it was over and I lost any interest in it because of that. I'm genuinely at this point where I feel that fusion is a bigger sin than Beast Gohan or Orange Piccolo.

Toriyama said he doesn't like being predictable which is why Goku hasn't defeated anyone on his own since he fought Frieza on Namek 30 years ago (ironic that it is so much more predictable today because I just know that Goku isn't defeating a big villain on his own hasn't for 30 years which is also quite predictable, he should've found a better balance cause I don't remember another popular show where the main character doesn't defeat a villain on his own for 30 years lol. Imagine Luffy not being able to defeat anyone on his own for decades or Saitama or you know the list goes on. Having the main character defeat villains on his own all the time is also problematic but so is the exact opposite. I feel Toriyama failed in finding a good balance) but they introduced these fusion bugs early on (cant remember the exact episode) and essentially spoiled the show if they follow up on it. Which is a cardinal sin for a show no ?

Please tell me I'm not the only one sick and tired of fusion.

This is DB to me these past 30 years. Goku fights, gets his @ss beaten, finds a new form, beats the villain for a short bit but loses then either needs to fuse with Vegeta or get help from others to defeat said villain or they give a side character crazy power jump that makes you shake your head in disbelief. The patterns are so obvious and SO SO PREDICTABLE. I thought Toriyama hated being predictable ? Daima is the MOST predictable of them all. It looks pretty but has no soul. When GT did it (for the record I don't LOVE GT) at least I could forgive it because it was fairly new in many things. Fusion wasn't recycled so many times and SSJ4 was new and cool. It was all fairly fresh even if it was still a bit predictable. But if my fears come true Daima feels like a production made with no passion or care for DB unfortunately, feels like a soulless nostalgic cash grab but the nostalgia ain't nostalgia'ing anymore.

I HOPE I'M WRONG and these fusion bugs they introduced in the early episodes were just to throw people off but if not OH BOY will I absolutely hate Daima with a passion. I can't remember the last time a show spoiled the ending for me in the very first episodes lol. I genuinely hope they're not that clueless.I'd rather have Panzy/Glorio defeat the villain than yet another fusion.

Aren't Minis officially over with Glorio's wish? Also I don't think we're getting a Gogeta considering he only thought of a name for himself in Broly's movie. The fusion will be between someone else than Goku & Vegeta.

I don’t think it’s fair to say that, because for 20 of the last 30 years, Dragon Ball was basically "dead"
In the Boo saga, fusion was an important element, but it was more of a novelty rather than the endgame (the Genkidama finish was perfect to me). This issue became more prominent with the Dragon Ball sequels. It's a recurring theme, but it doesn’t happen all the time either. But I understand you and I agree, it's getting old.

It's going to be Gogeta/Vegetto but with slightly different design and different name. It would be pointless to introduce "another" way to fuse if they're not going to use it.

It pains me to say it, because I love Toriyama's original work, but Daima is a badly written fanservice.
