I really liked this one. Can you give examples of how those other chapters were so much better? Also, I wonder why Toriyama is credited for this one?
Toriyama always receives the same credit as the author of the original manga in Japanese. The Viz credit is misleading but I am sure also a selling point. The app actually has a more accurate credit for both him and Toyotaro.

So let me get this straight, Pilaf gang have just continued to work for Bulma for like 5+ years now? I forget how much time has passed since the Beerus movie till this chapter, but that's what it feels like. How old is current Mai supposed to be anyway, a teenager? Also where was the Android from the Super Hero movie? Didn't he stay with Capsule Corp too if I'm remembering right?

This chapter took place before Super Hero. It was the backstory for how Goten and Trunks started doing the hero thing they were doing in the manga.

It was a fun chapter, we got to see how Goten and Trunks became super heroes and a museum about earth heroes. The battle was actually fun and enjoyable.

Kinda crazy to me that Toyotaro is living every fan's dream. Started by making fan mangas, got to work directly with Toriyama, and now is in charge of the official stories.
"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone." - Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball Super

As a result of the rights issues, no one likely knows who's in charge of what. Toyotaro will be the one drawing the manga, but he likely won't decide what gets approved and how it's written.

I know, I'm just saying that whatever manga form the series returns in (more super or new series), Toyotaro will likely continue drawing it.

I too think it's likely but let's not jump to conclusions.

A very cute and fun chapter, it was nice to read Super again after all this time.
I like the fact that

I liked all these Easter Eggs with the statues in the museum. Turns out not only Olibu is an Earthling.
The blue-haired warrior called "Kidomo" is on the statue as well (seemingly that name dropped at the Afterlife Tournament as well, but it was not clear to where whom it belonged to). Now I feel like I want some backstories

Fun chapter. Weird how Saiyaman got a statue though. Didn't he only stop some petty crimes in the manga?

Ok guys, this is big, they just
, but listen, most of of us will assume that it's a cool reference and everything, mostly an easter egg, but hear me out.
What if if this is a BIG HINT from Toyotaro himself, and we all are just ignoring it? What if he's trying to tell us what's the next arc of Dragon Ball Super manga is gonna be with this? And that is...
or something very similar.
Because... this is freaking huge to me, it's the first time a
, lol.
I really don't want to feed myself with false hope, but damn, it's just too weird to me, I'm ready to believe that it's exactly the case.
What do you think guys?
There’s no need for an After Life tournament because no one in the main cast is dead lol.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

A very straightforward chapter (one might even say "basic"), but totally inoffensive, fun enough in the reading, and has at least some of the easy charm that made the prequel arc section a good time. Stuffed with little Easter Eggs and had a nice little journey for Trunks - it makes sense that Goten was already into that hokey goofiness, but the "too-cool-for-school" Trunks would need a little jog to be quite so earnest about it.
I guess there's also a nice little tie-in to the idea of the past inspiring and looking toward the future, which the main manga arc also had going on throughout (and particularly in its coda) - it's fitting that Trunks should be inspired by Gohan (who, while technically the same generation as Trunks, has a clear seniority and straddles the divide between the 'Old Guard' and the 'Next Generation'), situated in a locale that is dedicated to honouring heroes of a bygone age.
It would be nice to get a bit more clarity over what's next for the Super Manga - I wouldn't expect to hear anything until Daima is over, I suppose, but the title deserves better than to be left dangling, so I hope we hear something promptly afterwards, one way or another.

Cute chapter. Nothing more.
Typical Toyotarõ with a wave of references, liked some not so much others.
Disappointed that Bulma and Videl appearances was them delivering food, specially the latter since she's supposed to be a martial artist trainer, right? She's in a dojo!
The above really jumped out to me because, why isn't Videl represented as a hero? She even had a chance of a double entry as Videl and Great Saiyaman 2. Shocking omission.

Cute, little episode. Nothing to right home about, I barely even took my time to read all the panels. The panels with goons, I just ran through them. Not this chapters' fault, though, had the same experience with the SH prequel.
I just cannot get invested in street villains for too long, and Clean God is not doing it for me. A little bit was fine, but...
I hope they could get into a little more difficult adventures. Jaco could use them, they already went to do stuff with him on that awful anime filler episode.
Also, Ikose and Idasa are Mr. Satan's students. Nice.

Dang, I could have done without the Mai bullshit.
This chapter really does just feel like A Chapter That Happened. I enjoyed the Trunks x Goten stuff, but I didn't really feel like this was a fun read. Toyo-tarou doing the Geoff Johns thing by referencing anime-original characters kind of irritates me, even if I like anime-original stuff, though.

I guess it can't be denied that this chapter served to show how, at some point between Age 774 and Age 783/784 (whatever year this takes place in), Trunks started to think that Superheroes were cool. I don't think we really needed that, because it's easy enough to understand that people will change their views on a thing or two over the course of a decade. But it's not nothing.
I don't really care about present Trunks as a character, though, least of all Toyble's version on him. I don't hate him, he's just there. He's fine, but not really interesting to me. Also, I can see absolutely zero recognizable difference between the Super Hero prequel chapters that Toriyama ostensibly had a hand in, and this one.
As for the Clean God guy as a superhero in general, I might have found the bit funny as a one-off gag, but it doesn't really work for me as a frequently re-occurring thing. Yeah, he cleans up filth-based bad guys, I get it. I also think the Saiyaman X designs kinda suck; a farcry from the Real Saiyaman. Maybe there's a bit of irony there, that Trunks thought Saiyaman looked lame as hell when he was a kid, only to grow up and don an infinitely worse looking getup himself.
