What would you have preferred for the climax?

3. Still SS4 but more build-up;
4. No new form, SS3 or fusion gets the job done;
5. An old form (UI, SSG) returns

Start big (SS4), then have them fighting exhausted and with barely anything left in the tank, then they can't even move anymore, so they have to just talk it out.

Basically, Naruto v. Sasuke II.

1 and 3, work on the characters and the story better to make SSJ3 and SSJ4 mean something, rather than just "Well, that happened."

I really liked the new version of Super Saiyan 4, so I wouldn't go out of my way to era erase that.
However, I would like to see Super Saiyajin 3 finally win a major fight. It looks amazing on both Goku and Vegeta too.
Have the characters struggle in their mini forms, then Glorio makes the wish (which should be a big deal) and Super Saiyajin 3 Goku wipes the floor with Gomah.
It's either that or Piccolo helping to finish him off for me personally.

Vegeta has shown that Ssj3 is more than enough to finish this guy off, so I'd just rewrite the ending with Ssj3 Goku and Piccolo working together instead. Ssj4 Kid Goku achieved nothing, and chances are Ssj4 Goku will achieve nothing that couldn't be done in Ssj3. If they must have Ssj4 in the plot, then have it actually mean something to the characters involved.

Goku and Vegeta distract Gomah and Piccolo delivers the finishing blow to give at least give him something, anything, in this series other than forgetting a language he was completely fluent in just a few years ago in storyline and finding out his people were demon realm slaves

I swear to god, if this series ends with yet another Goku/Vegeta fusion, I'll be so pissed

If a fusion happens, it'll either be between the two Kais or the two Majins. As for Piccolo, I definitely think he deserves to deliver the finishing blow, although I don't think they'll kill him off. I think he'll get some gag conclusion, like being locked in a box or something.

Out of those, 3 I guess but what I really needed is an interesting villain with a good design.
