Video games characters you wish that were canon and how

Here are my picks:

NES games:
* MB Army - As the rivals of the Red Ribbon Army. Maybe it was their base where Dr. Gero found the doll that Android 19 was modelled after.
* Bimbo - For world building.

The Legacy of Goku series:
* The Mayor of West City - This place is the setting of so many episodes and sagas, its mayor needs to be properly introduced.
* Robert - Just as in the game, have him interrupt Mr. Satan's glory hogging parade.
* The Warlord - Beyond being part of Robert's story, this evildoer needs to be shown actively trying to take over the world with the backup from the Pod Corporation.
* Pod Corporation - Rivals of Capsule Corp.; besides seeking more income, they too seek world dominance.
* Newman - Undercover scientist who was sent by the Pod Corp. to sabotage Capsule Corp.; Newman can be dealt with by Yamcha back when he was still with Bulma.

Dragon Ball Z - Sagas:
* Soba - The strongest Yardrat warrior. No need for him to surpass Frieza of that era, just to be almost as strong as Captain Ginyu would be enough for me to explain why the Ginyu Force were sent there. He can be Goku's training partner under Pybara.
* Yaki - The beast lifeforms of Planet Yardrat.

Maybe a boring pick since it's another Saiyan but Shallot. Yes we have enough Saiyans, but he is an ancient one, there's countless possibilities of exploring the Saiyans' past, Planet Sadala, possibly tying him to Yamoshi since we never got to see that interesting story fully fleshed out

Another boring pick is Android 21, I know her design was canonized in Super Hero, but it wouldn't hurt at all to see her as an actual character in the story. Even though admittedly, we already have Arinsu to fullfill the role of hot malicious scientist

Last pick is the Supreme Kai of Time from Xenoverse. Not only I like how her design looks, I find her quite charming and introducing her could allow the writers to introduce the concept of the time patrol properly, not like in super dragonball heroes

Other than that, I don't know, there's definitely more but they're not coming to mind right now, you already covered some niche ones. Maybe that dinosaur from Legacy of Goku 2, in that section where you had to move the eggs from one location to another. I always did that with Vegeta because it was really funny to me to imagine him doing that, so seeing it animated would be crazy

The only modern Dragon Ball video game characters I'd like to see in canon are:
* Hearts - being the Time Traveller from Universe 12 mentioned in the manga; he moved back in time to save himself from Zeno's wrath as in his future timeline, Zeno has decided to erase his civilization.
Hearts now sets his eyes on destroying Zeno once and for all.
* Lagss and Vidro - the two sole survivors of the Glass People, seeking revenge at Chilled's seed: Frieza, for the annihilation of their race and the theft of their homeworld.

I would also like to see Vinnie from the "Legacy of Goku II" and his "village" in the canon, as part of the reason Bulma broke up with Yamcha: While preparing to the Androids' arrival, Yamcha asks Bulma and Dr. Briefs for the perfect sparring partner; they connect Yamcha to sensors and ask him to showcase his abilities, with the registry of his movements and speed being conducted by their master computer. 2 days later they finish making a robot called "Capsule Corp. Warrior" that has all of Yamcha's fighting data and automatically calculated ways to counter them.

Yamcha tells Bulma that he wants to check the robot out, and needs an open battlefield; so they head North to the area where Vinnie's "village" is. While Bulma lands her helicopter on the ground, the two fight in midair with Yamcha accidently hitting the robot's face too hard and makes his "mind" avoid the suppression system; the robot becomes too aggressive and strikes Yamcha down with a powerful punch to the back of his head. Yamcha crashes to the forest below where Vinnie finds him almost unconscious, asks him if he is Yamcha from the Titans, when Yamcha struggles to stand up and replies that he is, Vinnie carry him up to his pickup truck and drives away. Bulma turns off the robot and flies towards Yamcha with her jet.

Vinnie (a 40+ years old playboy weirdo) takes Yamcha to his home, where he's throwing a party with drunk college girls who melt over Yamcha the baseball superstar. Bulma asks the locals if they had seen Yamcha, and they offer her to go to Vinnie's noisy and flashy house up the mountain, where she finds a half conscious Yamcha on the sofa with 2 drunk college girls next to him. She scolds him for his carelessness and takes him home by his ear. Vinnie gets scolded and slapped by Bulma, making him the joke of his own "frat house"/playboy mansion.
