I wonder what would happen to Roshi's old ass, he already looks like he's as old as he can possibly get. Maybe he'll get a laugh or two out of the main cast finally facing the one inescapable enemy they will never be able to beat or run away from

They will develop something like stands in Jojo's Bizzare Adventure, made from their Ki, whilst sitting under trees in cool shadow.
We saw foreshadowing to this in Beerus arc in Super, with those Ki Dragons.
The stands will duke it out instead of their frail bodies.


In-universe, I guess that everyone turns elderly except for Saiyans

Oh, I am in no way capable of being surprised if this is true. The other day, my friend linked me this 780,000 word fan fic where Gokuu is a woman. I have yet to have a chance to read it yet, though.

But oh my god, you could do so many different takes on "Gokuu and the gang are turned into girls" or "so-and-so begins transitioning after realizing that they are a girl!" It's such a rich field for exploring questions of gended and sexuality in these characters, especially from shounen series.

I switched from writing fan fiction to writing original fiction, so I don't think I'd ever have the time to write gender bender Dragon Ball, but god, it would be interesting to see someone try it out—especially in a visual medium.
