What was the better age for Bra?

In the End of Z and in Dragon Ball GT she was portrayed to be older than Pan, but Dragon Ball Super messed things up (once again) and made Pan to a year older than her.

It's actually somewhat of a misconception that Bra was born before Pan. Her entry in Daizenshuu 7's character dictionary labeled her as being born in Age 778, the year before Pan, but the general timeline in that same book and every other source outside it correctly lists her as born in 780 instead. So this is one of the handful of timeline and character-age things that modern DB actually didn't screw up.

Nope. Dragon Ball Super actually did something right (for once). I'm pretty sure even though Bra was given two birth years, AGE 778 and AGE 780, Dragon Ball GT went with the latter (I think Perfect Files states that, if I remember correctly), which means Bra was always one year younger than Pan. Dragon Ball Super corroborates with this, as Universe Survival saga, where Bra is born, takes place in AGE 780. Over a year from Movie 15, where Pan is born. Everything is as it should be.

Also, nothing in "end of Z" suggests Bra is older (and vice-versa, for that matter).

In fact, Dragon Ball Super ALMOST messed up the timeline when they wrote the first two episodes as if they took place months after the Majin Buu battle, instead of four years later.

I mean, the plot of Mr. Satan receiving the World Peace Prize and Vegeta's family trip seems kind of out of place when it takes place four years after the Majin Buu battle, instead of months later.

Fortunately, all we have in the series regarding this time interval is that "some time has passed" and as much as these first two episodes seem out of place, the main story gives clues that it really takes place in 778. So Beerus falling asleep before Planet Vegeta explodes and waking up 39 years later coincides with the year 778, as well as Pan's birth the following year.

... she is regularly and repeatedly listed as being born in 780, including in the Dragon Ball GT Perfect File timeline (where, also remember, that GT is officially established as picking up five years later after the "End of Z" in Age 789):

There's really no confusion here about who was born first and what their exact ages are: Pan is a year older than Bra.
