Wow, that's weird, especially Brigitte Lecordier. I wouldn't have minded Borg replaced since his voice has changed so much but no way can you replace Lecordier.

Apparently Brigitte Lecordier doesn't think a dub will happen.

That's good, Dragon Ball has always been dubbed in French so I'd hate to think Daima would be any different.

Only hope is BBC have it for UK if Netflix and Crunchyroll haven't got it. Odds on Crunchyroll are throwing their toys out the pram so to speak, like with Ocean Kai.

Apparently the Cantonese dub of Daima has popped up on Viu TV. Anyone in Hong Kong or with VPN access catch this dub yet?

So looks like the Cantonese dub will be following the same release pattern as the Albanian dub.

That's great, wonder if 2026 will be the year of the European dubs with German and Italian seemingly coming?

Of course nothing is promised here, but I asked DR about whether they could dub Daima in Danish.

For what its worth this was their response:
Hej

Jeg kan ikke garantere, at de vil gøre det, men jeg vil med glæde give forslaget videre 😊

Venlig hilsen
English translation:
Hi

I can't guarantee they will do it, but I'll be happy to pass on the suggestion 😊

Best regards

Anyway may the 4th be with all you German Dragon Ball fans.

Did they change studio AGAIN? Are they changing voice actors again? lol, the german dubs change voice actors so much... It's weird how the german dub gets made before french, spanish (spain), portugese and italian dubs.

Pro Siebben Maxx is not a dubbing studio, it is a broadcaster.

They are, because this dub is being done in Münich (previous German dubs were recorded in Cologne and Berlin), but as Yellow Flower King said Pro Siebben Maxx are a broadcaster so will only air a dub if one is available.

Since Tommy Morgenstern isn't likely to return, I'd prefer Frank Schaff to reprise Goku.

Schaff voiced him as a teenager on the original Dragon Ball series (which unlike Z, it was recorded in Cologne) and he currently works in both Berlin and Munich (where Daima is apparently being recorded.)
A little too late but yeah, I've been officially active in Kanzenshuu for ten years :)
