I mean, I think there's material to mine there, especially in contrasting her with everyone she fought, but I wouldn't expect every contestant to get flashbacks, either.MasenkoHA wrote: Sun Nov 30, 2025 12:42 pmIdk I was also fine with most of the participants just being fodder.JulieYBM post_ :? wrote:Sun Nov 30, 2025 12:36 pm They should have broken up the action more with flashbacks during the Tournament of Power arc to give those characters more context for their own personal reasons to for fighting.
Like Ribrianne was a perfectly fun character that got hate for reasons I’m sure have nothing to do with her size or the expression of her gender
I don’t think she needs depth or any reason to exist beyond “magical girl “ parody
In order to continue DB's story in an authentic manner, Jump should create a Toriyama AI bot

Toriyama AI bot would still forget and retcon stuff though.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

It's a good thing that we don't even need to think that far, given that AI art is inherently not acceptable art and should never be used.FortuneSSJ wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 1:07 pm Toriyama AI bot would still forget and retcon stuff though.

Hear, hear.PhantomSaiyan wrote: Tue Nov 18, 2025 2:36 amIt doesn't "help", it just interferes with the process that the professionals are already perfectly good at and familiar with. It's nothing but a pointless addition to a process that's already been figured out, it's only use is allowing higher up bastards to refuse the option to pay other humans for their services.
AI tools have some uses, but they should be for data collation and analysis, not creative works and processes. AI tools should help with analyzing complex data sets and eliminating rote, repetitive data entry tasks, not replacing human thought and leaving people as nothing more than "quality control."
If it's art, AI should be nowhere near it.

The first form of art was created by Homo Erectus which is not human. Unlike AI, Homo Erectus and other non human animals are living begins with their own thoughts. AI can't think on its own.Luso Saiyan wrote: Fri Nov 14, 2025 8:57 amBut they are not people. Animals don't make art. People, unlike animals, have intellect and reason and art is about creating, expressing and conveying something from oneself to another.Hellspawn28 wrote: Thu Nov 13, 2025 2:41 pmArt by other animals is still art because they are living beings.

That's conjecture.Hellspawn28 wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 3:00 pmThe first form of art was created by Homo Erectus which is not human.
Humans are distinct from animals and all other living beings in that they have conscience, intellect and reason, from which art emanates.Hellspawn28 wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 3:00 pmUnlike AI, Homo Erectus and other non human animals are living begins with their own thoughts. That's right, AI can't think. It only processes data.

Regardless of that, Homo Erectus was still human (it's called Homo for a reason, latin root, homo literally meaning human) so what's the point of even bringing it upLuso Saiyan wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 4:29 pmThat's conjecture.Hellspawn28 wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 3:00 pmThe first form of art was created by Homo Erectus which is not human.
