and with Toriyama gone, will always be his ONLY VISION of a sequel to Z
Well there are asterisks to that, because Battle of Gods originally started as a Toei product too. He created Beerus, Whis and SSG, but the concept of Goku getting a new form to fight a new movie villain was something that Toei came up with.
True, but I mean that Toriyama contributed to it regardless. No matter what anyone says, Super had characters and concepts approved by Toriyama and had his involvement even if it wasn't a deep involvement on his part. Like his reinvention of Broly, for example.
So, yeah, any new Dragon Ball series from now on will be made by Toyotaro, Toei, or whoever/whatever. Essentially made by committee in way, which isn't bad, but my point still stands. Super is now the ONLY long-running continuation of Dragon Ball/Z with Toriyama's input. I don't even really count Daima because it was just a miniseries.
Because of that, I still think a Super remake wouldn't be the worst thing, especially if it leads into the Moro, Granolah, and Black Freeza arcs.
