Moro saga will be adapted, good things from there it's the appearance of Dai Kaioshin, Dragon Ball Online's Yadorats and Uub. So I'm looking forward to them specifically.

Looks like we're getting the Moro arc! They haven't explicitly said that but what else can we conclude from that title and art. That announcement video was awesome too! I was going "ooo" seeing the various Toriyama panels and artworks being animated.

Oh, hey, Moro adaptation's real. Neat. (With trailer music by Hans Zimmer, of all people. Huh.) Guess the rights dispute was at least partially sorted out.

Anyway, I'm more intrigued by the gallery on display at the event. If the subtitles weren't wrong, apparently there are original recording scripts and some of Toriyama's original genga, including scenes not in the final manga? Even if it's just concept art, that'd still be great to see; I hope the eventgoers take a lot of pictures.

I don't know about you guys, but if they're going to adapt the Moro arc, I hope they take the opportunity to improve on the weak parts of the manga. It doesn't have to be a 1:1 adaptation of Toyotaro's manga.

Yeah, but then once Goku's space pod went to space it became an animated panel, I immediately thought: "no way they are going to adapt Jaco, the Galactic Patrolman!?", I almost screamed.

The host just said Kageyama will be doing his performance after the game announcement so I wonder if he will be doing a song for whatever the new game is?

I definitely think so, Toei is finally shifting to seasonal with one piece as well, so it's prob a safe bet to say it will be seasonal

I hope the Galactic Prisoner arc gets some narrative restructuring when it gets adapted. And I hope it’s a film and not an TV anime because I feel with the material Toyotaro provided for that arc, a movie would better suit the pacing than 24 or even a 12 episode anime.

That video retrospective of Dragon Ball's history over the years was BEAUTIFUL. It almost had me thinking we were getting a Dragon Ball anime remake, which is what I wanted. But getting Super back with the Moro arc (and essentially the Granolah arcs and beyond) is WAY BETTER THAN THAT! I'm pleasantly surprised they didn't end up remaking the Super anime. Even though I wouldn't have minded, the route they chose is obviously for the best and I was just keeping my expectations low. Also, I'm sure Julie is more than happy this isn't a remake, after all since she was telling everyone that it wouldn't be one.

And I love that the Super logo is blue for the Galactic Patrol arc. And the art of Goku and Vegeta looked amazing. I just hope the animation matches, which it probably will if this is seasonal. Man, DRAGON BALL IS BACK, GUYS. And HANS ZIMMER OF ALL PEOPLE doing the music for the trailer was something I never expected in a million years. Yeah, Dragon Ball is part of global mainstream pop culture without a doubt now. Wouldn't be surprised if we get a live-action movie, maybe also scored by Hans Zimmer?

Guess it's good to keep expectations low so when they go above them, you end up mind-blown. And there's still more announcements to come. Well, I'm going to have to go out and repurchase all of the Super manga in preparation for the Moro and Granolah arcs getting animated. Also, I can't wait to hear all the new dub actors who will end up playing Moro, Merus, Granolah, Heeters, and so on. And ULTRA EGO VEGETA!!!
