Don’t expect any animated material soon. According the Ajay, the projected internal timeframe for the Galactic Patrol/Moro arc is late 2027.

P.S: The poster says: Story and Character Designs by Akira Toriyama

They probably mean that loosely. The story and most of the designs for that arc are from Toyotaro, with the exception of stuff Toriyama already designed previously (e.g. Jaco, the round Yardrat, etc.) though Toriyama did come up with a few things (e.g. Merus's background).

But yeah, looks like they're going full steam ahead with Moro after all. Despite my many criticisms of that arc, I think I'd rather they adapt it faithfully to the original story than try to change a bunch of crap to shoddily align with the 2015 anime.

Thought it was going to be a Jaco adaption at the start of it. Would've been ok with that.

Pleasantly surprised it's not a Super remake.

I only remember a handful of stuff from Moro and was kinda middle of the road on it, but after having Goku and Vegeta separated and then barely interacting in Daima, getting back to how they were together in dbs is my jam so I'm lightly looking forward to this.

2027. I do wish it wasn't so many years after the show's hiatus though, but I'll take it.

Nozawa was fun, I'm happy she was there. I liked the "Vegeta's so selfish." line.

A possible guess is late 2026? If One Piece is going 26 episodes a year Dragon Ball could occupy that timeslot for the other 26 weeks of the year. If Elbaf arc starts in April it will probably end some time around/in October.

Oh I see you guys saying late 2027. That wouldn't surprise me either since all we saw of it today was a poster.

Also, guess those DBS anime leak images were either fake, intentionally put out there to throw off fans, or like others suggested, the images will just be used in episode 1 of this new anime as a recap. Anyway, looking forward to more of the announcements like the game announcement and Part 2 announcement (which maybe is a movie or anime remake of the original manga).

I’m guessing just for the presentation. Paying Zimmer to score a 5 minute video is one thing, I doubt Toei would cough up the money to pay Zimmer to score an entire tv series for them, even if it’s probably only going to run for half a year.

The part where it shows all the different characters just before it focuses in on Goku and the new guy goes Super Saiyan makes me wonder if this is a game where you can transform into any transformation or even race from throughout the Dragon Ball franchise. In these games I'm always like hmmm what race should I pick and it would be interesting if you can be all of them, like on some Ben 10 shit.
