Great episode! I really liked hearing from you and AJ about Super: Beerus and how it will be more than just better animation. 2013 Z Movie (Beerus first version) → 2015 Super TV Series (Beerus is retold) → Super manga (Beerus is retold) → Super Broly movie → Super manga-only arcs → Super Super Hero movie → long TV anime hiatus and now manga hiatus
Timelines are all over the place too if they adapt Super Hero for the Kai version of Super but then need to go back in time to tell Moro.
I also agree with the point about Beerus not really being a villain in the original Z movie. He worked because he was more like a force of nature than a bad guy, and I hope the new version doesn’t lose that by trying to make him “scarier”
