Sounds like it’s gonna be a few more years at least because of all the specials that still ‘need’ to happen.Koitsukai wrote: Mon Jan 05, 2026 9:43 am I don't even remember when or where I left this series. Is it close to the end by now, or not at all?
Despite its many flaws, I still think a compilation of all its chapters would make for a nice time.

This looks less and less like Dragon Ball. Is it Asura's schedule?
Vegeta surrounded by women feels so out of character. I know it's just a cover but it just doesn't feel right.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Well, it’s been a few months since the last time I read DBM and as usual nothing really important happened, so here are some scattered thoughts:
I found Videl’s, Bra’s, and Trunks’ deaths pretty unnecessary, not to mention that ridiculous exchange between Vegeta and Son Bra. The Oob special did catch my attention though, are they doing animated panels now? I liked Gast’s one, but mostly because of how Dr. Gero showed up. It just reminded me how much I’d love a special about his life, starting with how he joined the RR Army and ending with him and 19 setting their revenge in motion.
As for where the story is headed right now… hmm, I don’t know. It feels like another Majin arc? XXI there with other villains around, the good guys trying to somehow fix everything? Pretty repetitive. It feels like Salagir still hasn’t figured out a really satisfying way to wrap this story up.

Multiverse as a whole feels very un-Dragon Ball: the need to be edgy and gory without any good context behind it, bad dialogue, bad characterization, and bad humor.Trouser wrote: Mon Jan 26, 2026 5:24 am This looks less and less like Dragon Ball.
