I can count on one hand (without the need of all 5 fingers) the number of specials people actually care about, so I don't understand why they keep spending so much time and effort on them.Trouser wrote: Thu May 14, 2026 6:09 pm Holy shit! This Bojack's special nobody cares about is still on going? No wonder people are losing interest in this comic.

Is it to give Asura time to draw? I understand drawing can be rough, especially at his quality, and he likely has several other projects, but we're talking about 2 (3?) pages a week. It's not a mangaka schedule. The Dark Knight wrote: Fri May 15, 2026 1:03 amI can count on one hand (without the need of all 5 fingers) the number of specials people actually care about, so I don't understand why they keep spending so much time and effort on them.Trouser wrote: Thu May 14, 2026 6:09 pm Holy shit! I have no issue with him or anyone else taking their time, I just don't understand why they're wasting so much on chapters people don't seem to like. It would be more logical to just have the comic be on hiatus whenever they need the extra time to put out main chapters.Yuji wrote: Fri May 15, 2026 3:18 am Is it to give Asura time to draw? I personnaly like better to have something during the wait, Even if It is a Little less interesting than the main story, instead of having nothing for months. The Dark Knight wrote: Fri May 15, 2026 4:02 amI have no issue with him or anyone else taking their time, I just don't understand why they're wasting so much on chapters people don't seem to like. From my perspective as an indie writer: I don't write and publish strictly for others. While I am happy to have sn audience who connects with my work, I don’t change my work for them unless my work is unclear (tunnel vision is easy to get, after all). If I had to guess? Salagir feels the same way: he's simply following his own creative vision. The Dark Knight wrote: Fri May 15, 2026 4:02 amI have no issue with him or anyone else taking their time, I just don't understand why they're wasting so much on chapters people don't seem to like. Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Since last year it's been 4 pages a week and only because a few artists happened to finish their specials around the same time or close to finishing. It's just other artists volunteering and picking a special they want to draw so the release usually depends on who finished a special when a main chapter ends. When DBM first started there weren't any specials and it had the usual web comic schedule of 1 or 2 pages a week. If you check the fan comic thread most don't have a schedule at all and only when the artist has time to release something.Yuji wrote: Fri May 15, 2026 3:18 amIs it to give Asura time to draw? So now we're stuck with some kind of "flashback" in new chapter.
