- Make powerscaling more consistent
- Remove filler episodes from the DBS Anime
- SSG is used more frequently, including by Vegeta
- Make the trips to the future less convoluted - they only go twice, first time they get their ass kicked, second is when they defeat Zamasu
- Either get rid of SSJ Rage for Trunks or give a proper explanation
- Include the GoD Battle Royale in the pre-tournament matchup

Funny thing here: I removed just a few bulletpoints from this quote that didn't apply, but all of this is easily accomplished by straightforwardly adapting the manga.

Which hopefully they'll do, ideally without any typical anime filler bloat. Would be a great way for me to recommend Super to some of my buddies that don't read comics.

Realistically, I just want the Goku Black arc to look nicer and pace better. I don't think there's saving the U6 Tournament, it's too boring, and I'm convinced they'll ruin the good parts of the Tournament of Power if they touch it so I hope they don't even bother.

They should ignore Toriyama's outlines and go through and create new scenes and dialogue that adds character arcs for the characters in the Universe Six arc that can be fleshed out later during the Tournament of Power. As flawed as these stories are, there's enough of a general framework to them that they can actually use what's already there to create good stories.

The Future Trunks arc is a three hour mystery-thriller film waiting to happen, they just need to let a director and writer (Tomioka Arsuhiro, again) actually cook.

The only thing I would change is not something within the story or even about the anime, I now see mecha3000's suggestion of putting Super on cinema would be the best way to replicate the mosh pit that watched DBS on the streets. They could replicate it in a legal way that is just as massive.

I would like a complete overhaul of that series, but I guess that would be impossible seeing as they already announced it while making the same mistake of retelling what doesn't need to be retold. So all I ask is:

• That they keep all the Super Saiyan 2 scenes from the original (and if possible, add more). Fix Trunks' Super Saiyan 2 hairstyle to be distinguishable from his Super Saiyan.

• They reduce as much as possible the amount of episodes from Universe 6 saga and Universe Survival saga, so that those tournaments end very quickly. Keep Future Trunks saga at twenty episodes, that's the acceptable length of a saga.

• More information/lore to be revealed overall.

• Be specific with the timeline. Enough with the "sometime later" shit. Toriyama was mostly specific about it, which is why we are able to figure out the years for the events, there's no reason to be vague. Outright state that Beerus saga is four years after Majin Buu saga, Golden Freeza saga is fifteen months after Beerus saga, and so on...

• Trunks wears a green pullover, it is seemingly the same green pullover he wears underneath the black coat as a Time Patroller. I can only assume they had the intention of making him become a Time Patroller by the end of the saga but decided to go against it. Do not go against it. Fix that damn ending to this one already.

• If Goku Black opens up a rift in the sky again with his scythe, be creative with it this time and use it for something interesting...

• If Dragon Ball Super Broly is retold, place emphasis and screentime on the Saiyans of the past. Not the Saiyans of the present, I already have forty years of content with those. I want to see more of the Saiyans that lived on planet Vegeta, prior to its destruction.

• Get rid of all the shitty transformations: Super Saiyan Rage; God of Destruction; Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Evolution and etc.

It still wouldn't be the perfect series due to the presence of retellings and tournaments, but I guess with that stuff it would become more enjoyable overall.

That's only acceptable if there's actually 20 episodes worth of story to tell, which that arc clearly didn't have, so I think 12-15 would be more reasonable.

Xenoverse 2 used it to show characters from other timelines (GT, Movies, etc...), so I think that would be kind of interesting, especially the reaction from the canon police.

That was exactly what I was thinking about. It's one of the reasons why Future Trunks saga in XV2 is the best version. I don't think they will ever have the balls to do something like that in the series, even though they should, but one can hope.

Besides, they used that rift to defeat Merged Zamasu too, it went both ways. It was very clever and interesting.

Idk if I'm alone in this but I absolutely hate those outfits, especially Vegeta's, grey just looks so bland and uninspiring as the main color.

I much prefer Vegeta's dark blue from Super Broly (and it's going to be used in the Moro arc too form the looks of it) and Goku's Daima gi.

As long as they change the outfits and not pander to nostalgia by bringing back old stuff, it's all that matters. It doesn't need to be Movie 15 outfits per se, but anything that offers a fresh air, visually speaking. It was a mistake to go back to their old clothes.

The Dragon Ball Heroes anime was merely adapting what the game was doing, and it was region-locked to Japan only. It's different from doing something like that in a series intended to launch worldwide. And that's what I would pay to see.

I was rewatching the first use of Kaiou-ken Blue for funsies and oh my god, it looks so terrible. I really hope the whole exchange gets redone from the key animation phase up, because it's just such an underwhelmingly directed and animated scene and the use of the Opening theme clashes so hard with how uneasy a moment this is meant to be for Gokuu.

In addition to keeping Kushida Akira's insert song for Ultra Instinct, I would really love it if new vocalists were brought on for other insert songs. I don't know what the series plans on doing about the Openings, but asking Kiina (Genkai Toppa Survivor) to do vocals for more songs would be a ton of fun.

I’m actually just finished episode 1 through 27 of the original Japanese version of the series on Crunchyroll I.e. the pre- Blu-Ray version of the Battle of Gods and Fukkatsu no F, just got done with the 6th and 7th Universe Tournament arc and the Copy Vegeta filler arc (note I didn’t watch the dub version with my boi Brian Drummond return as the Copy Vegeta) on DVD on my PS4, just started the Black Goku saga, and let me tell you, yeah, they need fix the animation, cut out the filler cause it was boring to watch, especially the copy vegeta arc I didn’t even care for that story.

As for some addition, cut out the SSB Kaio-Ken and change it to Goku using SSG then Blue against Hit, add the drawbacks of using SSB multiple times in a row on the second consecutive usage where the user loses 10% of their strength in the forms initial stage, Future Trunks SSJ2 being stronger than Goku’s SSJ3 before Goku use SSG to one shot kick Trunks in the back of the neck, add the relationship link between Kaioshins and Hakaishins that explains why the God of Destruction in Trunks timeline no longer exists due to Future Kaioshin’s sacrificial death against Dabura and Babidi, no Goku SSJ2 vs Base Form Black or Black destroying the time machine and the group instead using Cell’s time machine, no USSJ Trunks vs SSB Vegeta, and Black using SSJ before he went SS Rosé in the manga instead of just transforming into Rosé instead of not transforming into SSJ1.

I'm actually against Future Trunks staying in the present timeline, cause 1 it broke the laws of time manipulation as explained by Whis and Lord Beerus, and 2 it's still ticked me off that Future Trunks and Mai now have to live in that world where there's already a Trunks and Mai in that reality, i mean what the heck is going on here.
