Kineko video has restored 13 episodes of dragon ball in glorious hd. From multi gen prints no less. If toei wasn't too lazy to re scan the original ocn in 4k we could have even better. Alas it is what it is. Toei will be lazy fans will do what they can.

Yeah... I've said it many times... if the 30th anniversary sets had JUST been FUNimation scanning their raw film prints... I'd have been content with that. To be honest, there's an authenticity to the dirt damage and splice marks that, while a clean up job makes nicer in motion, it captures that real... film vibe I love.

Yeah, they look fantastic! There's a group doing this for Dragon Ball Z CC and I was absolutely awestruck watching the Trunks saga this way. it felt like a brand new show and I don't think it can get any better than this.
The next couple of years will have some insanely good Dragon Ball colour-corrected upscaled releases for sure. I just can't wait!
