Dragon Ball Z Stream on Crunchyroll

Apologies if this is already a topic on the board; I searched and couldn't find anything. Does anyone know the source Crunchyroll uses for their DBZ stream? It feels like some episodes are widescreen, some are 4:3, colors seem off in some episodes compared to others, and there are no next episode previews. I'm almost positive it's just the "orange brick" season sets, but wasn't sure.

The Japanese version primarily uses the Dragon Box masters, though the odd episode has Orange Brick footage squished to 4:3. The last few "seasons" worth of episode also have Dragon Box footage stretched to widescreen. I'm pretty sure the dub uses the widescreen US Bluray footage.

Interesting. I have the Funi Dragon Boxes and I wouldn't have pegged those to be from that release.
