Anybody else getting server errors trying to access the forum?

If you ever experience these kinds of errors, they are almost always due to what are effectively DDoS attacks from AI scrapers. They are a scourge, and while we do everything we can to alleviate their load with our firewall, they do not respect basic parameters and constantly switch IP addresses to cloak themselves.

There is nothing you need or have to do, and please know that we are always well aware of the situation.

How about blocking AI scraping of this website entirely if possible? I recall most websites that prohibit AI scraping, such as the NYT website and other major news websites.
