Let's not modify anything about the Goku Black arc ending.
There's a clear point to it, a message:

"Don't ever call Zeno to solve your problems or he will wipe out your whole dimension.
You're lucky this time that it happened in Trunks' timeline and the guy WILL suffer consequences for what you've done to save the day for the rest of his life.
Also, your universe and loved ones are next in the next arc if you don't perform the best, so here are your stakes, the biggest there's ever been in DB history.
AND you do not cancel a decision to wipe a universe/dimension that the highest gods have taken unless they allow you to do so in a special event that grants you one ultimate wish for distracting them by winning their game/competition, and only because they aimed at you to state that wish, otherwise..."

So yeah, you need the ending of the Goku Black arc to clearly show "don't call Zeno again in the future and that's just in time to show you your next, unstoppable death sentence hovering above your heads for the next arc".

The worse thing about the ending is Trunks and Mai just awkwardly going back to a timeline where there's duplicates, it was THIS decision that was truly baffling, Zeno is fine

...So what else were they supposed to do? Anime: Zamasu was basically encroaching upon all of reality and needed to be stopped immediately and none of our heroes were capable of doing anything. Manga: Zamasu was multiplying at a rapid pace and declaring that he had the means to go spread his path of carnage across every universe, which also meant he needed to be stopped immediately and none of our heroes were capable of doing anything since attacking him just made even more of him show up. In both versions, the Omni-King Button was the absolute last resort when everything else had failed.

So Cold Skin your saying they should die by Infinite Zamasu’s hands in both manga and anime and not call Lord Zeno from that timeline.

There was no other way around it, and it’s directly connected to the Super Dragon Balls, cause if it wasn’t for Future Zamasu using them to wish for immortality and then destroying them, this would never had happened.

They could have defeated Zamasu by asking Kaioshin to get the materials needed for the Mafuba from Master Roshi.

Instead of bringing Bulma to the future, why not bring Dende and his Dragon Balls to the future. Surely his dragon balls can revive the dead z fighters excluding Future Goku who died from a heart virus.

That doesn’t make sense cause it takes away the core theme of Future Trunks character.

1. Freeza not ever having trained. Imagine if he's trained for just a few months in his life, he'd have easily killed Goku on Namek. How absurd!

2. Goku being an absolute airhead.

3. No more Super Saiyan hair colours, please. Do something innovative with SSJ2 and other techniques. SSJ3 is imperfect, so make SSJ 2 work better.

4. Make the humans train with gods or whatever, to get powered-up like that.

5. Make Trunks cool again and don't erase his timeline.

6. Change the ending of Resurrection F and don't do that laser thing that Sorbet did.

..and this last one's the most important -

7. No more "tingly feeling" in the back to attain SSJ.

Overall: Adult Goku being less stupid and childlike. More in par with his manga version and DBZ. He's not Luffy. Stop it!

BOG
- Vegeta uses SSJ3 against Beerus, instead of a SSJ2 "that surpassed Goku SSJ3".

ROF
- It's revealed Freeza 4 months training was actually years inside a Time Chamber that he found in space. Foreshadowing to the new one Goku/Merus use in Moro arc.
- Gohan is knocked out by Freeza final form. Not base Freeza.
- The laser scene. There's a flashback that shows Freeza had put some of his Golden Freeza ki inside the ring and gave it to Sorbet, as a backup plan. It's not Sorbet ki that hurts Goku.

Champa
- Beerus vs Champa flashback space fight.

Zamasu
- Flashback of FT Trunks Buu arc and getting SSJ2.
- Goku Black uses SSJ too. No idea why they removed that. It's in Toriyama notes.
- Goku, a married man and father, knows what a kiss is. Obliterate that scene to oblivion!
- Future Lunch is part of Resistance team.
- We seem some scenes of Goku Black killing the other Kaioshins.
- SSG Vegeta.
- SSB Goku vs Merged Zamasu from the manga. It's one of the best fights. The hakai part is fanservice, but It's cool as hell.
- The timeline ending is the same, but i like the endless Merged Zamasu clones from the manga more than Sky Zamasu. Use that one.

ToP
- Gods of Destruction introduction and battle royal from the manga.
- Goku doesn't use SSB against anyone during the recruitment. Against C17 he uses SSJ3.
- Some Universes teams are eliminated by Kale Berserk form.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

I also want the remake to use manga Caulifla and Kale, they are both my favorite versions in Toyotarō’s manga.

Besides the improved animation...
  • Bulma's party should be held at Capsule Corp. rather than on a cruise ship.
  • The Copy Vegeta arc should be removed in its entirety. That arc was awful. Seeing Brian Drummond returning from the Saban/FUNimation/Ocean and Westwood/Ocean dubs of DBZ to voice Copy Vegeta in the Funimation dub was nice, though.
  • Pilaf, Shu, and Mai shouldn't make an appearance or cameo in the DBS remake. Ditto for the Dr. Slump characters.
  • The ending of the Zamasu arc.
  • No more "tingling back" method to obtain Super Saiyan.
  • A different background music score from a music composer besides Norihito Sumitomo.

The tingling back I wouldn't say was bad, I think the anime could have explained it better.

I wonder if in Japan there was a backlash with the whole tingly back. My assumption would be no.

This won't happen, but if we're lucky enough to get some cool new cuts, I'd love to see both Tagoma and Shisami fight on Earth during the Ressurection F arc. Shisami versus Piccolo, Gohan versus Tagoma, then swap opponents because they suit the other better. Give me Gohan getting his ass kicked but make it look good! Hell, go bonkers and give us Golden King Cold versus Vegeta Blue! :D

They'll never do that because they also need to convey the image that all of this was written by Toriyama, so any changes they make can't be too blatant.

I don't think that's necessarily the reason. They could just say that Toriyama wrote it. Who would say otherwise?
I expect things like this to not happen because I don't know how much they are invested in actually going back and changing major things. It all depends on the scope of the project.

One thing that needs to go away is Piccolo's death in this arc. It's the most pathetic and meaningless thing I've ever seeing.
Just sit here and waste your precious time. When you want to do something, don't do it right away. Don't do it when you can. Read my posts instead. It's the only way to live a life without regrets.

One thing I want to change is True Golden Frieza being able to tank a Hakai, cause the manga Frieza never show the ability to sustain the Hakai

To me, nothing needs to be really changed except what they already plan to change with the enhanced edition: fix a lot of the animation that needed it, redo scenes that need to be redone and shorten the whole thing to make it more (re)watchable.

Keep in mind that they will probably not make major changes: I'd say they need about 50% of the footage to still be usable as-is without drawing corrections and with just coloring/effects corrections, 25% of the footage to just have drawings corrected and only 15-25% of an episode to be brand new animation shots from scratch because the scene didn't exist.

I wouldn't count on them cancelling a move or form that has now been included in games (such as Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken against Hit), nor bring up a transformation that wasn't in the initial scene to begin with (such as bringing up Super Saiyan God again against Hit or Goku Black, as the objective is to mostly count on drawings and situations that were already there as much as possible and slide in corrections and new shots in between). But who knows, we'll see!

Basically, I think something like the Sparking! Zero story of Super will still be fully compatible with the enhanced version, meaning they will change details and the presentation, but absolutely no major beat of the storytelling that must remain compatible with what they're using in products and games and the major scenes featured in those games (Dramatic Finishes, anything shown in Sparking Zero, etc.)

I'm very impatient to see this new version, I love a good "graphics overhaul" update to correct things that were subpar and keep what was deemed okay.

Oh no, don't misunderstand me, I feel the way it ended and how Goku reacted is perfectly fine by me, but also that it not only solves the situation but serves the purpose of a warning never to do it again, so it's not a "get out of jail" free card you can use anytime on the contrary of what some people seem to imply sometimes!

Some people complain because they say "they didn't win against Zamasu, that's no victory, they lost and they're just good friends with an invincible almighty entity that did the job for them, the ending sucks!"

I take it more like they DID win but the bad guy sort of cheated beyond his defeat (kinda like Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, in which the final boss is defeated but there's a final bad surprise afterwards), so they in turn had to resort to "the ultimate cheat" to counter that. But I don't agree that "the ending/victory is not deserved" like some consider, and I even consider that it's a clever way to clearly show the stakes for the next arc AND also show "your so-called friend Zen-o is not an auto-win free card you can play when things get wrong as the consequences will be dire, and you're even lucky this time that the consequence was ONLY this, and you've seen first hand that he will not hesitate erasing universes on a whim just like people tried to tell you."

So on the contrary, unlike some people who dislike the use of Zen-o at the end of the arc, I totally see multiple points in having the arc ending that way, including having Trunks and Mai having to live as "guests to another world", sort of a "kinda good ending with a peaceful life to enjoy but you still have to suffer a bit of a price for the rest of your lives due to how you failed to resolve the situation in time or properly". Future Trunks will always be about "you don't get to have a perfect life, you'll have a bittersweet sort-of-okay life after very tough fights and losses". He will always be the wounded but hopeful warrior, never be fully healed but living with a burden that will never go, things that will never be perfect but "good enough".

Another important structural role that the arc's ending plays in the show is to deliver on and truly justify the absolute fear that the other gods have of Zeno. Seeing a whole timeline get erased accomplishes that.

Also, showing Zeno to be precarious enough to erase timelines gives Goku a new level of danger to flirt with, which is always fun.
