It'd be cool if we got one more wave of DLC after SSJ4 Daima Goku

How likely is it that we'd get one?

Because one on hand, not only is this game extremely popular, probably the most successful 2D (licensed) anime fighter out there, but there's also enough important characters to make 2 passes worth of DLC. It wouldn't make sense to make 1 character and put it back into purgatory.
But on the other hand, I heard that Bandai and Arc System were feuding, and even if that weren't true, they've definitely got their hands full with Granblue, Strive 2.0 and Marvel Tokon, right? I also heard Bandai's in-house team was in charge of 21 (Lab Coat) and that patch a while back so they could be making the new goku too

Goku Super Saiyajin 4 trailer! He looks amazing!

I love how they are trying to capture Daima's art style with this character. Just look at that Super Saiyajin 3 face at the beginning. Also, the pose he does with his hands. It's perfect.
I love the way he fights like a monkey too! Lot's of grabs!

It's kind of wild to see these older games still getting DLC. It's a real shame they're only putting out the one character for this release, this feels like the sort of thing you would do in pairs.

The animation looks noticeable more choppy than previous fighters.
Still, it's nice to get a trailer where the release date isn't months in the future.

I like how all the animation smears emphasise that this Goku’s arms are chunkier than Steve’s from Minecraft.

I am bit sad that I don’t play on competitive level, as I’ll probably pass on this DLC thanks to what SZ is cooking in upcoming DLC. But I am really curious what they did with SSJ4. Mostly with unique interactions to other characters.

Just saw some stuff about how the model is not made by ArcSys and how many re-used animations there are and last but certainly not least that fucking copypasted png on one move. Can't stop lmao'ing at it all.
Guess it's fitting for it to be a bootleg re-used character.

It isn't as bad as people are saying in my opinion. The character is still good, just not on the same level of polish as ArcSys characters. They did reuse some stuff from previous characters, but he still looks fun to play.
I actually don't mind Bandai going back and doing their own version of FighterZ, but I wish that they didn't tinker with a game that's not theirs.

I do think ArcSys will come back at some point, after Marvel Tokon. But it will be for a sequel.

While it isn't stated that ArcSys didn't create this character, I feel he looks and plays good. even if I'm not the biggest Daima fan. I can also see this being a test case, where if enough people buy it, they will make more. For now, ArcSys' main focus is Tokon though, which they plan to support for ten years.

All in all, I like the FighterZ roster, but would always welcome more.

It is a bit lame for me that DAIMA get its own SSJ4 to be a character in this game and the original SSJ4 is limited to be a special move for GT Goku.
