Geekdom said Schemmel wants to retire when he can afford to so only time will tell how much longer he'll be voicing Goku. That said he will probably stick around for Super Kai and probably a couple more years of Dragon Ball projects beyond that.
I'm surprised Sean doesn't already have enough to retire considering he is probably the most well known English VA

Funimationa and Crunchyroll pay extremely little. Only rarely higher pay actors just say "Fuck my salary, I wanna do this!" like James Masters or Laura Bailey. I doubt he has enough money to retire.

I mean their voice acting gigs aren’t their only source of income.

There’s a reason so many of them are regulars on the con circuit

Maybe that's why he insists he has to be the only one Goku when he goes on Cons. It is his main source of income.

I also seem to recall that the most of the dub work done by Funimation and Crunchyroll is not unionized.

There was even controversy surrounding the dubbing of the third season of Mob Psycho 100, as Crunchyroll decided to do in-person recordings in Dallas and replaced voice actor Kyle McCarley (the protagonist’s voice) and director Chris Cason because CR refuse to comply with their request to sign a union contract with SAG-AFTRA.

Oh wow I remember that controversy. Crunchyroll is not a good company.
