Help With Burst Limit Settings on PS3

Can I please get some help with my PS3? My video output is in clear HD, but when I play Burst Limit it switches back to Standard Definition. When I hit the PS button while the game is on, the cross media bar is in SD too. Then when I quit the game and go back to the PS3 menu, it turns back into HD. When I play other games such as GTAIV, it's always in HD. But when I play games like Burst Limit(Full Game), Naruto Ultimate Storm(Demo), and Hot Shots Golf:Out Of Bounds(Demo) the video output changes to Standard Definiton.

The first time I played Burst Limit, it was fine. The resolution was in HD. This just happend one day out of no where without me messing with the settings. Has this happend to anybody else?

It's no huge issue since the games play fine. It's just the resolution. But you know, if I paid for a console and game that promised HD, then I should get HD.

Hmm... there have been problems in the past with that Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction demo... but I think there was some pixelation issue. I've played the Burst Limit demo and it seemed fine to me... I dunno... I'm not much of an expert when it comes to this... lol Guess just ask somebody else... does it have to do anything with Progressive Scan...?? (Wild guess )

Did you try to go to the display setting and check if everything is alright there? If it is then you could try to set the setting back on SD mode (you'll lose image when it's plugged on a HDTV) plug your PS3 on a SDTV and the go again to the display setting and set back to HD mode (you'll lose image when it's plugged on a SDTV) and try to play it back on your HDTV. This is some sort of a reset but I can give you no guarantee it'll work.

Just remembered, you can hold down the power button for like 8 seconds (I believe you will hear a few bleeps) which will really reset your input display.
