I really like how it's strongly reminiscent of artworks in the first Daizenshuu! Pretty impressive to me, and kinda nostalgia-inducing!

Have some custom square covers / icons for the six existing series!
As usual, I made them quite easily by assembling Legends asset, I certainly didn't draw those quality assets myself!!

I use them as covers displayed when playing the BGM and songs of the various series, but if you like some of them, I guess you can also use them just as a cover for your PC folders, for example if you keep artworks, soundtracks, episodes or whatever on your computer.

The only things i dislike about these is that specific elements such as Whis and the Dragons in the background don't follow the same Legends style as the elements in the forefront. So they feel detached to me, though, Bulma feels a bit off to me too for reasons I can't exactly describe, maybe it's her colors? Not sure, also the Base Form Goku in the Z cover has the png white edges problem.
Aside from these, I think they look really great! The Z and Super ones are my favorite (Whis despite not having the Legends look, I really appreciate you putting him with his back turned, it works with the darker, space parts of the background) I think the characters and background blend really well. Filter over SSJ3 Vegeta looks nice, and the Kai cover I think is the one that resembles official images the most, all these Super Saiyajins together always look really nice, so good work!

(Also, I noticed how Daima is the only one to not have any of the Gokus with a soft aura or light around him like all the logos do)
✪ Good Afterlife to Toriyama, the Ultimate Consciousness of the Dragon Ball World. Good Mortal Life to Toyotaro, the Successor. ✪

Not sure if it qualifies as it more KOTH themed but it is a parody of a DBZ Eyecatch so i think it counts

Glad you like most of it! 8)

Yeah, there was always this thing with Legends that makes character renders unusually refined while the background pictures don't try to go beyond the usual anime style. So despite the fact that every asset comes from Legend, there is a discrepency in style that is already present in the game's assets, which I understand can make it look like it all fits less with each other.

Good catch on the Base Form Goku in the Z cover having a bit of PNG white edges problem, it didn't catch my eye as I edited the picture from a more zoomed out view to have a feel of the general picture. Yeah, now that I've noticed it, it's a shame that there's this strange flaw that is absent from the other Legend renders, how strange that it's here for this one.

Usually, when adding an extra soft aura around Goku, it was because when doing a with/without comparison, I saw that adding one sort of "put him forward" in the picture, like it brings extra depth to the fact that he is in front while the other elements are more in the back compared to him. But I must say, there are glowing effects I didn't add myself and that are simply part of the original renders, such as the ones for the Ultra Instinct or the Super Saiyan 4. Usually, the auras I add are more straightforward than those glowing effects, like the yellow ones for the Super Saiyans or the white one for Kid Goku. If it looks like a more complex glowing effect that a surrounding aura, I must confess it doesn't come from me! In the case of Daima Goku, unlike other pictures, when I did a "with/without aura" comparison, it didn't look like it brought him more on the foreground to me, it felt like the composition already did the job for that for that specific case and even felt like the aura was deeply unnatural, really fake and not flowing well with the rest of the picture for this one. So I didn't include one for this one.
