I liked Legendary Super Warriors on the Game Boy Color as a kid, so I thought it'd be neat to take the combat system and do something similar without outright copying it.
Star Spark speeds up DBZ: Legendary Super Warriors' combat, mixes in roguelite navigation and deckbuilding, and drops you into the classic 2D fighter side view for battles.
