@Schmullus1 has posted a comparison of the two printings on Twitter. The only difference spotted so far is the credits, with the most significant change being the addition of the English singers. There are also minor wording/typesetting differences for whatever reason, and the romanisation of "Anton Zalavski" (Zedd) has been changed/corrected to "Anton Zaslavski".

...I also did not realise that the name Zedd literally just refers to the letter Z. That feels almost ironic given how established "Dragon Ball Zee" is in English, even in countries where Z is pronounced 'zedd'.

Huh, that's the first time in ages they've credited dub singers. Supposedly there was a dumb rule where they weren't allowed to do that.

Finally got my shipping notice today. Also, it looks like now, you have to have a Crunchyroll subscription to buy things from the store?!?

Yep; between that and trying to kill physical media, Sony is quickly becoming the most anti-consumer company on the market. There's also reports that Sony plans on bringing legal charges against people complaining about their new policies...no, seriously, they want to sue you for voicing your concerns.

I bought mine a day after it released from Walmart (because I wasn't paying 70 MSRP on a pre-order). Unfortunately my copy had an encoding issue on episode 12 so I had to exchange it for another copy. That one works fine, thankfully.
What surprised me more than anything is that Crunchyroll didn't try to split the show into 2 separate releases, and actually released the full show in 1 set. I know that Funimation would often split shows with 20 episodes or more into 2 separate releases to maximize profits, and Crunchyroll has been keeping that tradition alive with their recent releases of shows like Frieren. I don't know what caused us to get a complete series box set, but I'll take it.
Lastly this isn't Crunchyroll's fault, but the case that houses the discs are terrible. I had to do a trick where you use a pen to push the plastic teeth out more to actually grip the discs.
I think the company's called Viva Elite, and they have a stranglehold on the market for plastic cases. Which means that they can continue to put out a product that only gets worse with time.
We need a Steve Simmons' re-translation of the manga.
