As a Dragon Ball fan, what are some must-see places in Japan?

Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

As a Dragon Ball fan, what are some must-see places in Japan?

I'm going for the first time in November. I'll be in Sapporo, Osaka, and Tokyo. The only Dragon Ball-specific place that I know of is Dragon Ball Store Tokyo.

What other places should I check out?

I am sorry but I was going to suggest just that, the DB store... it is the only official place... mmm.... let me think harder....

Oh there is one museum that has the car designed by Toriyama, I would want to go there....
mmm... it seems like it belongs to collectors who ramdonly have it at museums but the internet could not provide me with an specific address, sorry. ... found this twitter, https://x.com/RubberNinja/status/1118267583654809600.

Another place I would go to perhaps it would be near Toriyama's house, or Toei Animation studios. I wonder... do they have tours like the Nickelodeon Studios used to do it? I have to clue, but it sounds interesting...

Perhaps other DB related place in my opinion would be those places where they sell the anime cells, I think it is very cool to posses one animation cell that was once used in the actual anime. It is kind of magical when you think about it, to hold in your hands something that made it possible for your then child to see something at your home TV, it is like possesing a piece of Dragon Ball itself. I would go and to be looking at them and touching them and probably considering very hard about getting in debt on my master card to buy one.

I wish you a safe and great trip Amigo.

OK, so far I've got:
I think I'll steer clear away from near his home/Bird Studios. Only places that are open to the public. Anime shops and Jump Stores (or store? Are there multiple?) are a given for sure.

Is this J-World Tokyo? Looks like it's permanently closed (according to Trip Advisor).

Thank you! This is a dream trip for me. I'll probably use this thread to share any Dragon Ball/Akira Toriyama related photos I take.

My bad. Has been a bit since I've been there.
