German Dragonball Opening

Post by Gr8t Saiyaman » Thu Jul 31, 2008 12:06 am

Youtube has a bunch of various German theme songs for Dragonball, and I happen to be a fan of this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ek1Fy46iJQ

The big question I always have with foreign non-Japanese themes is if a full version was ever made. I know for DBZ, there was a full version of the two opening themes, but is that the case for this one?

Also, while I'm on the topic of German themes, what's up with Dragonball GT having different lyrics for the same theme song?

Thanks everyone! :D

The German version for "Makafushigi Adventure" was made ONLY for the first three movies. The TV show got a different opening (which sucks).

For DBGT, there is a "Dan Dan" version for the TV special (which was released long before DBGT aired on TV) on DVD and then a different version for the TV show (with terrible lyrics).

All of them are only available as short TV versions.

Well that clears up a lot of the confusion I was having. Personally, I also hate the other non-Makafushigi opening in German. It's too bad there isn't a full size of the other one, I'm always pretty happy with the instrumental style that gets put into the German openings for Dragonball.
