What's this song?

Post by Kroni_Hunter » Wed Jul 30, 2008 11:11 am

It's from the dub, I can specifically remember it being in the Saiyaman Saga. It's the soft flute music that plays when he's with his family before Videl finds out his identity. Does anyone know the name of that song?

Got a link? There's a couple different pieces like that. One is called Home Sweet Home. There's another that's unreleased that was originally written for Guru way back when and extended after the Frieza\Spirit Bomb episodes. And there's one other lame flute thing called 16 & the Squirrells.

It's not Home Sweet Home, or the 16 and Squirrels, I made a short midi version of it from what I can remember maybe one of you can recognize it.

Oh well, :) I humbly give up. I don't recognize it. My expertise really only extends to the first part of the Heaven's Tournament though.

The tune you posted is a recreation isn't it? Anyways, I recognize it; it's been in use since FUNi's Ginyu 'saga' debuted. From what I remember, it isn't a standalone track, it's more than likely a small segment of one of the longer tracks on FUNi DBZ soundtrack releases.

Good luck; hope you'll find what you're lookin for.

Odd, if it really goes back that far then I should recognize it almost immediately and yet I don't (unless it's an Ocean dub thing). Where was it used?

The tune usually plays during the scenes of the more peaceful moments of the show. Sorry for the lack of exact specification; I've been watching the series in Japanese audio only as of late. I'll get around to pointing out the exact episode(s) this tune is played in.
