Yeah, it has some writings in the back, but no Jacky. Why would they have removed that?

They didn't, it was never in the book. It was in a little booklet that originally came with the daizenshuu.

It's worth noting that in DragonBall Forever, Toriyama somewhat denies that he based the villians off his editors. He says he doesn't remember doing it on purpose, but admits that he very well could have done it unconciously. Incidently, here's something I've alway found funny:

Toriyama talking about the creation of Piccolo Daimao in his Daizenshuu 2 interview:

With all the villains up to that point, there was always something likable about them. So Piccolo Daimao was born from me trying to create a truly bad guy.

Shenlong Times #1's proflie for his first editor:

Kazuhiko Torishima (initial editor)

Currently the head editor of V-Jump. Was the editor from the beginning of DragonBall until the end of the 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai. It's rumored that he was the model for Piccolo Daimao.

So...Toriyama's true feelings about his editor revealed? In addition, Kazuhiko Torishima also served as the basis for the Dr.Slump villian Dr. Mashirito (To-ri-shi-ma with the syllables reversed).

You'll have to wait a while for that. It's not up yet and before Herms and Hujio translate it and put it up they are going to do Daizenshuu 3,5 and 10, then they will do 6 then 7 (which will take forever, considering it's immense size and how well they do their translations and stuff) and then they said that they will do quick little summaries for Daizenshuu 8 and 9. I don't know in what order they will do the DBGT perfect files and the 4 anime and manga guide books, but sadly it won't be for a while...but that's the price for such quality work!

We might skip the Carddass daizenshuu altogether. DragonBall Landmark and Forever are the books I want to do most after finishing the daizenshuu, and it shouldn't take too long to do them, since most of their contents are recycled from the daizenshuu, which we'll just skip over. So leaving that all out it's mostly just the Toriyama essays, the name pun guide (which I've already done) and a few other odds and ends.

Sweet! There is no point to do any Card-Ass stuff anyways, all though I did see one Card-Ass machine at Little Tokyo, Los Angles. It wasn't Dragonball, I was Dragon Quest I think...Yeah, it was I still have some cards I think.

The daizenshuu are quite a bit bigger, roughly 25% taller and wider.

WOW, now that's what I call big. I have the VIZBIG and if I remember right, those were almost the same as Kanzenban. So I can pretty much estimate how big the daizenshuu is. Wow, that's big lol.

I totally screwed up. I ordered the paperback and not the hardcover and it arrives today ! That really sucks.

I didn't know there was both a hardcover and paperback edition. In fact I think there is only a hardcover edition, and Amazon just incorrectly lists it as a paperback (or at least that's what Tanooki Kuribo's experience seems to indicate).
